Hi! We're looking for members for our new group - I Can See [and hear] Forever fansubs (or ICS[ah]F), if you will).

The name comes from our dedication to excellence in both visual and audio mediums. All our releases will be h264 lossless and include DTS sound. DTS is known to be superior to Dolby Digital and has been making inroads ever since its inception. The extra bitrate possible with DTS allows for higher fidelity and a greater dynamic range, which provides the end user with richer and more life-like sound.

We also have a roadmap that lays out the standards we shall be using in the future. Soon we will expand the number of channels, then move to DTS-HD, and our endgame is uncompressed 7.1 PCM.

We may also consider other video formats such as high bitrate MPEG2, almost like a "medium quality" option to our h264 lossless "high quality". All of this will be packaged in a transport stream.

We need the following positions;

-Project Picker
-Translator (you will have no say in the project choice, that is the Project Pickers job)
-Editor
-Timer
-On-Screen Note Styler
-Typesetter (You will not do notes, this is the On-Screen Note Styler's job)
-Karaoke (AFX only please, we strive only for the most excellent of karaoke)
-Sound Engineer
-Raw capper (NB: You MUST live in Japan and have access to such services as WoWoW, Bs-hi, and own a D-VHS deck as well as other recording equipment)
-Lawyer
-Moral support
-4chan lurker
-AndrewLB Troll
-AniDB Upvoter (there are an unlimited number of places avaliable for this job)
-Tech Support
-Movax

Projects: Binbou Shimai Monogatari, Lemon Angel Project, Maria-sama ga Miteru 3rd OVA, (Other projects have been talked about such as Himawari and other series that subbing has died down on. If any TL's want to sub some series and can't find a group that would do it we might be willing depending on the series)

Melody-Fansubs is currently looking for timers. At the moment I am doing most of the timing work since our other timers went MIA. If anyone is interested in timing for us please contact me. If you can time a script in 3 days of being given the script then you are good enough.

We are also looking for a bot provider since we have not one so far. And we have releases that we would like to distribute through bot as well as torrent.

Also any translators would be helpful as well.

Hey, as you know Shin-Getter used to be subbing a show called Combat Mecha Xabungle, we recently dropped it, but I'd still love to see some other group do it.

THEREFORE we're willing to provide raws (and maybe karaoke if our FTP ever gets back online) if anyone is willing to do it.

It's a 49 or so episode Yoshiyuki Tomino anime with a WILD WEST mecha theme.
