If I were a friend of Haruto I would keep all the female species (either friends that are female or gf) away from Haruto ...as long as he thinks he likes someone, he will go get the girl without thinking of others...not saying what he does is 100% wrong, but if I were Takashi, I would have a huge regret of telling Haruto of who I like, because Haruto is too...unpredictable, let's put it this way

I guess your right! One dimension still counts as a character development, I hope Seo keeps the consistency at least.

Compared to Good Ending (which I just started), we get more of character depth understanding, even in Ichigo 100% (which is light hearted) the girls were develop nicely.

I like Seo current work on Love Plus Rinko Days, is it made up by Seo or he's following a route by a game? I bet he practice a lot

Pretty much agreed, Its well known that Haruto has loved Eba for pretty much the entire manga, and all of his friends are well aware of this.

I can see why they might feel bad about Asuka getting dumped in the manor she did, but this was for Harutos dream girl, its something that like Haruto said in this chapter, " I couldn't date Asuka while Im in love with Eba."

As tough as it was, If Haruto didn't end things, Asuka would have ended up more involved with Haruto, while he wasn't in the same place, hurting her more in the long run.

Haruto is a dick for doing what he did, but for his friends to tell him its us and Asuka or you lose us, is in my opinion a bit much.

In order for this manga to work and end well, this needs to be the final relationship, for Haruto to date around any more would end him as a remotely decent human being, he chose Eba over everything in this chapter, so he better feel that he can actually be happy with her, and that Asuka/ any other girl wont be able to get in the way.

Oh how nice it must be to be young and naive, I will say this much for Yuzuki and Haruto. If they are determined to stay together no matter what then stick to what you believe is right thats all anyone can do, and i will respect it.

Although i think his friends may be blowing things a little out of proportion i still understand how they feel, and i cant argue that their reactions are wrong based on Haruto's past and his inability to explain situations properly. I understand his friends quite well, its very difficult when you feel you cant support your friend on something they have chosen to do. Sometimes you just have to cut ties i personally have done it in the past maybe thats why i can understand it.

Kiyomi's reaction was right in line with her character and what made it worse was she used Haruto own words against him, words he spoke when he was asked about Eba in the past. Kiyomi is hot headed this is not a surprise but she is also fiercely loyal to her friends and given her past experience with Yuzuki her reaction was not a surprise at all. However, Haruto once again failed to give a proper explanation as to why he did what he did. Kiyomi seems to think he threw Asuka away like trash and given how he broke up with her it easy to see why someone would think that. I do not agree with him getting back together with Asuka for her sake thats wrong. However, if you can walk the walk you better be able to talk to the talk. Kiyomi's last words "But nobody will ever obtain true happiness if they have to hurt someone else to get it" although i agree with her words im torn on if it actually applies here. However, its funny Nanami uses almost the same words as Kiyomi "can you really find happiness by stealing it from Asuka?"
She also commented on how Haruto horribly broke up with Asuka, i see a trend here.


Takashi and Akari im actually kind of surprised how strongly they took this. Now the only thing i can come with as to why they felt this strongly was because Haruto was asked more than once if he was over Yuzuki and he said yes now fast forward 2 years later he kills a relationship that to everyone else thought was going fine and that person happen to be one of their closest friends. If we take into account how much information they have i would be angry as well. Also, we have other instances where Haruto made decisions and his friend though they disagreed backed him up one of them being the initial move to Tokyo to chase Yuzuki. Im sure Takashi and Akari feel that Haruto betrayed Asuka and therefore betrayed them as well because they are friends. Also, it seems everyone thinks he broke up with Asuka in a not so pleasant way this perception as well would only add fuel to the fire. Now add in Haruto's stunning ability to say nothing while actually talking well you have just blown a nice gust of wind on top of that already raging inferno. Once again i dont agree with the degree animosity that was shown but i understand it and if i had as much information as the others i would probably act the same way.


Haruto spoke some big words "Even if i lose something as long as Eba is with me im fine" I hope you can live up to it man. Because when you decide that noting else around you matters except for that one person, you quickly start to learn how hard life can really be. You and Eba will be leaning on each other day in and day out and it can get tough. Honestly, Haruto is losing more than Eba what exactly did she have to give up? She was not exactly close with the core group anymore. Anyway i still think that Haruto is a tard but at least he made a decision and i wont say his friends are wrong either. If he feels that his love for Eba is more important than friendships then go for it man. However, do it without regret because regret can be one of the most painful feelings in the world. Even thought im sympathetic to their plight i still dont think highly of Eba which is probably never going to change.

Personally i would have had a sit down with Haruto heard him out and discussed it and if i didn't like what i heard then i would cut ties. But if it was logical and made sense and i was sure he was not going to be punk ass later down the road like he has been before i would accept it. Please let Seo play this out nicely so much potential right now for some good drama.

Actually, No dude go back and re-read Haruto was asked by pretty much everyone of his friends at multiple points in the story if he still loved Eba and he said on multiple occasions that he didnt love Eba anymore and he's moving on. His friends took him at his word this is why they are upset they feel he lied about it or he was just playing with Asuka. Now true he realized it later that he still was in love with her but no his friends were not aware.

Absolutely. I would've loved it if Seo had brought her in again at some point. She's exactly the kind of woman needed to set Haruto straight and make him into a real man.

As for Haruto and Yuzuki though, I've gotta hand them my respect for sticking with each other in spite of virtually everyone's resentment towards them; if they manage to stay together, that is.

I'm rather disappointed at how plainly Takashi took Haruto's handling Asuka though. If it were me, I would've called him out face-to-face and seen just how strongly he felt about Yuzuki that he had to go that far. Such a boring guy...

There is nothing wrong with Eba, she's a good girl, despite any of the audiences feelings towards her. If Eba was some crack whore who beats Haruto than that's another story. The only negative to them hooking up is hurting Asuka's feelings, and really that's the nature of relationships. Someone is going to get hurt.

If Takashi and Akari are willing to throw away their lifelong friendship over Haruto hurting the feelings of some girl they only know through association, than really they're not really friends. I don't know what your definition of "friends" is, but no offense you don't seem to have a strong attachment to the meaning either.

I agree with everything in this post. Personally, I don't think people should choose sides in relationship battles between friends anyways even if they disagree with what he did.
