Well, I dunno what to make of the bits and pieces of info that has come out, to be honest. :\

Not much of a fan of Okada, not against the chara design (though not my fave by any means), and even though the promo img and the title perk my interest a bit ... well ... too little info for me right now, I guess....

Nah, I've seen plenty of middle school boys in the sailor uni - in anime, anyway. I assume it's not that uncommon in RL. Once Okada gets her claws in him, OTOH...

Hey, at least none of the characters in Black Rock Shooter are a trap. You do have the yuri-shipping tho.

Like everyone else, though, I'm quite split when it comes to Mari Okada. Will it be decent like Toradora or a mess like BRS? We'd only know when it airs.

That's because there were no males in BRS or else. ..

Regarding romance, Hanasaku was empty and Aquarion Evol a total mess and painful.

Toradora isn't original anime but adapted from LN and a I think you know it already.

i think Okada is the perfect choice for this, she makes great characters especially the male leads... Basing her in BRS and Evol is kinda weird. The troll in Evol was Shoji Kawamori(come on guys, especially those last episodes...) and BRS(It's hard to write about this kind of series)

I'm -hoping- restrained, subtle drama, but the cynic tells me it's going to one hamfisted theatrical melodrama. But as long as the main MC doesn't get emasculated too much I'll be content.
