Well, look at Hajime no Ippo. Almost 1000 chapters and Ippo still hasn't gotten it on with the girl he likes. Hell, he hasn't even confessed to her, though it's been several years in manga time. The dude's gonna be a virgin when the manga ends... which is funny, considering how the author made fun of KNIM about that very same thing.

Well... there is always the alternative, though much darker and riskier route...

Just remember, in the comics, even Superman wasn't 100% unbeatable... and since Hayate has been called the Superman multiple times...

though I doubt we're going to see anything like that

Probably, in the end, they will do a fight for just enjoy...
but, really, if Kenichi mastered all tecnique of all his master, his become the second best fighter.., the one.., is the Elder.. with a Flash in his eyes..

Well ippo manga is sad now. 5 chapters with him trying to throw a punch, ippo author should look himself at his slow pacing.

lol I could imagine both Elder and Mikuchin both going after Kenichi.
Elder wants him dead for betraying Miu and Mikuchin for getting close to her disciple.

Yes, I'd like to see more of him. In fact, I'd love it if he was taught marksmanship by Jennifer Gray's father (he did say guns were friends and Kenichi's father is quite comfortable with guns and using them). And for added kicks, why don't we throw in Tanaka and have all three together so we get a shpiel about not losing yourself and loved ones when getting revenge.
