You know, I was thinking of using almost the exact same dress (at least the lower part) for a character that I was going to draw soon. Now I have a good source to help me
Like I said I really like it, but I'll give you what I don't like about it too, even though they are little things: 1) Why are her nails so pointy? Scary! 2) I like girls better when they have a nose 3) I think the eyes are spread just a little too far apart for my tastes. They look like they are 1.25 eyes apart (I like 1 eye apart better). 4) What are those little bobby puffy balls on the end of her....errr frills? Makes me think she's one of santa's elves or something. Like I said though definetly an awesome piece of work. If you like to draw Lodoss of War style and want to help make a game, let me know |

Very nice pic. I see the Love Hina drawing style.
Some constructive criticism: 1] The eyes. As someone stated above, there is a bit too much empty space. If you made them closer or added a nose, it would be fine. 2] The "claws." If she were a bit more demonic [ie Morrigan], they would work perfectly. However, she's too happy for them. 3] The ears. Those are the smallest elven ears I have ever seen. Most anime drawings of elves capitalize on this feature. Below is an example. http://server6.uploadit.org/files/sladextekno-Elf.jpg [is it against forums rules to post examples?] For other good pointers on elven ears, try looking up a few pics of Deedlit from Record of Lodoss war. They are actually quite easy. |
