Jesus Christ, this is so old that I never thought it would ever get an adaptation since Lament of the Lamb (Hitsuji no Uta) already got an OVA. Highly recommend on watching/reading LotL for those who never heard of Toume Kei, and want to know a bit about her writing style without spoiling what happens in this particular story.
Me personally I'm waiting on who is voicing Raven Girl. In all honesty, I have her voice in my head as Aoi Yuuki, but who knows who will get the part?

The manga was kinda like March Comes Like A Lion for me in that it had a "mature sensibility" to it that I liked but didn't seem to be particularly going anywhere so I lost interest in it.
Maybe the anime will keep my attention.

Episode 1
I think this has a decent start with the realistic setting. Haru has a personality that I think I can get used to while the rest of the cast so far seems normal. Rikuo's job at the store isn't something special to brag about but for a character, I think there's a lot of room for development. The art style looks okay and music has a serene like feeling for the show. Curious to see how much they plan to adapt the drama into this series. This first episode sets up for lot of story development.
