This finale was indeed well-done, best episode of the series. Rias going all-out with the deredere at the end was cute, Issei's smoothtalking got their S. Link to go straight from about Level 6 to Level 10; if she's going to live with him, I guess it won't be too long until Issei lives up to the declaration he made about her virginity. Good show, hope it sees another season

An stupid ''plot'', hot chicks that are not annoying and an retarded main protagonist that wants to be the Harem King. Thing is, so many things could go wrong with this, making it an chore to watch. It didn't. I laughed a lot on Issei's stupidness, although facepalmed when everything went serious shounen-style but drooled(just like Issei, an character we can all relate to hahaha) whenever any chick had no clothes on.

Instant 7/10 from me, which is about the highest I ever gave to an ecchi-focused series.

Oh yeah, they did a great job on Ddraig. Not 100% sure about the voice, but the animation was great.

Raiser was actually supposed to acknowledge Ise's strength and admit that Ise can surpass him in 6 months time but the anime took it out making Raiser look like an real antagonist.

lol, did that Goku/Freeza battle beat out Washizu/Shigeru mahjong match in Akagi? i loved the series but that battle was brutal. it took 10 episodes or so to come to a conclusion. it seemed like 30 eps to end that match.

Meh, well, normal, really.
I guess to say it in a complimenting manner, as far as fanservice anime go, this one felt like it was organized better. Animation and fanservice wasn't bad either, but that isn't really something that stands out above the crowd.

But in general, average anime with average story and average characters. Protagonist was surprisingly annoying though. Not sure if it is his voice or if it is his shouting or both or his overreaction to the opposite sex.
The only character that stood out was that cheap crazy priest character that just disappeared and never was mentioned again (what?).

On a different note, I think the most entertaining part of the anime was the OP, where it says "~~~ tokihanate!"
because it sounds like she said "SHOKOTAN wo tokihanate"... Apparently she says "shoudou", but...

That really was a long match......
So the battle between Ise and Raiser didnt seem long. The length was alright I guess.




Also about Season 2.......
The author of the LN comments that he hopes for Season 2 of the anime. So at this point S2 isnt set. It might be approved if the first dvd/bluray shows really high sales. Though even if it comes out it will probably be next year.

I could see a Season 2...especially with their talking of the "white dragon" that would "appear soon" or something...sounds like some opposite of Ddraig or something.

Well the things which were mentioned but not solved were:
-Freed. The crazy priest boy. He hasnt been dealt with yet.
-"White Guy". It ended with mentioning him.
-Appearance of Sairaorg, who appears in the later half of Story Arc 2.


If another season was to come out, I'm sure it would be 12 episodes long again. But it would be good to end at volume 4 for it because of the "White Guy".

It would be nice with a double season to be able to finish the next arc in one go, that's 3-7 if I remember correctly.

More like 3-6, but Volumes 3&4 and 5&6 are fine working in pairs.
I agree that a double season from 3-6 would make a strong finish.

Perhaps I'm being overly optimistic about how far the anime would go, but it is the later volumes which may pose a problem. 11 and 12 definitely go together. 8 consists of short stories where two have already been used in Season 1, the remaining shorts will probably be used as filler and/or OAVs in other seasons. This leaves Volumes 7,9,10 which results in an odd volume out (assuming 1 cour seasons).

Overall, as an ecchi/harem show, it failed to impress me. A pity, really, given the arsenal of pretty good chara-designs and potentially awesome characters the series had at its disposal. and... that's pretty much all I can say right now, due to a sudden impairment of thought caused by the latest and final ep.
