Well, after reading that summary...
I was, honestly, expecting something even darker. C'mon Kouki, should have at least let Yui bleed out or something, all alone on cold, hard pavement...horrible, horrible way to die.

Is it true that the YF-23 looking TSF is called the "Shiranui Second"?

Could anyone confirm whether all those Berkuts are Su-47 or Su-47Es?

While Yui is out, Cryska and Yuuya developed their relationship.

Cryska was starting to lose her Alt3 power. Sandek decided that she is no longer useful and decided to dispose of her. Yuuya learnt that thru Inia, and with the agreement of CIA that he will bring Cryska to US, he busted into the Soviet base and rescued her.

During the prison break, Sandek tells him that all Alt3 needs to immese themselves in ABS LCL every day to live. If Yuuya takes Cryska away, Cryska only has 5-10 days to live.

Cryska first refuses to go for nationalistic reason, then she refuses to go because Yuuya will be in deep trouble because of her, finally she refuses to go because she knows she is dead either way.

Yuuya embraced her in a very heroic way, and convinced her.

Yuuya and Cryska stole the Shiraui 2nd and flew into Soviet's Alaska. They first fought the rest of Algo squad, then a squad of Alt3 Su-47, then a red su-47 with Inia and another Alt3 in it. After they rescued Inia and Cryska killed the other Alt3, Yui arrived. Yui refuses to fight Yuuya and let them go.

Cryska died in the wilderness with Inia and Yuuya beside her. You know 'I am glad I fell in love with you' sort of speech.

Since Cryska is dead, Yuuya failed his agreement with the CIA. Also he doesn't want to hand Inia to the CIA. So he defected to Japan.

They went to Russia, Yuuya and Inia find a stone, engraved Cryska's name on it, and made it her tombstone.

Russia mother appeared and apparently, Cryska/Inia didn't kill them all. Half of the division survived and other Soviet general took them in.

The time then shifted to Operation Sakura.
There's a Su-47 all Alt3 land-assault division that was doing alright until a laser fort class apeared.

When it (and the oribial drop troops that are landing) was getting annilated, 5 squads of orbitial drop troops arrived. Mother Russia and Yuuya (under her command)'s division arrived. The rest of the division one by one detonated their S11 to open a path When it was Mother Russia's turn she told Yuuya that he is like a son to her. When she was about to blown herself up, Cryska's ghost appeared. [She still dies I think.]

Each Su-47 and Yuuya's Shuranui get surrounded with Cryska's blue flame, and she whisped that she will protects all those that Yuuya treasures.

Then there's the flashback with all the TE characters. After the flashback ended, Yuuya charged towards the fort laser class, the game ends, and the credit started rolling (yes I know.)

That seems kind of "off the rails" to me. If its true then hopefully it comes across much better to someone playing the game then it does in summary form.

In retrospect, if true, it also kind of makes that choice controversy between the Second and the Silent Eagle moot, considering the "Second" as the YF-23, something with presumably better stealth (and all around better stats) than the Eagle.

Cryska is a earlier "model", newer models like Inia and Kasumi probably don't have the same "weakness".

I think in universe, the two YF-23s are a temporary fill in and unofficially identified as Shiranui Seconds just for the final chapter as a disguise, hence the colors. But the real Shiranui Seconds are still being considered for adoption for 2004.

Official records of the two modified YF-23s may get deleted just like the Gundam project in 0083.

Until someone makes a sequel thirty to forty years later after Disney buys over the rights to it(jk). Might just be hopeful thinking on my part, but if there's a Star Wars 7 in the works, there can be a Muv Luv Alternative: TE2 one day. They've already pulled a Luke/Leia on us and Cryska has become one with the Force so if the analogy holds true we just might guy lucky right?

Knowing Kouki, poor Yuuya probably met his fate and journeyed to where Cryska is, in EXTRA-verse! Of the various ways to go in Alternative-verse, challenging an alien super-weapon is a rather impressive exit.

But he didn't want to depress us too much, so he left the ending open.

Anyway, it has been called the Shiranui Second Phase 3, which has the Jump units of the Shiranui, and 4 mount pylons, but I have no idea whether the main frame has any Shiranui parts.
