My apologies, the last few days have been a little hectic.

Anyway I guess I'll go with your idea - with you starting the thread and I'll just post what I've collected afterwards. I'll start with the Forces of Negima. Though I'd like to ensure that I get the second post, could we set up a time for this?

And I guess discussing the other Negima media sources would be acceptable. Other than Negima!? using what appears to be a weaker Magic System there doesn't seem to be any real difference.

Yes, it is rather late in the day for this. Currently, the only really active thread in this forum is the manga thread so I would ask those who post in that regularly, is there a need for character discussion threads?

Of course the other big issue is that just how many threads would be required, if we make one then we would have to create at least 20 of them. This would only serve to diffuse any real discussion since there would be hardly any forus.

perhaps just a general discussion thread then? that way no real space will be taken up.

The only character threads I think are necessary (that is, if people insist) are Negi and possibly Asuna threads.
All the rest go in a "pairing" thread, if we choose to make one.

wait what? Negima isn't all about parings you know. What abut characters like Evangeline, Chao, or Setsuna these characters have interesting backgrounds and deserve to be discussed.

Okay, maybe other main characters can be discussed as well.
I wasn't being very optimistic.
It just seems that recently those characters aren't important anymore.

I think the problem of creating character discussion thread for main characters is that it's hard to define who are the main characters as focus switch around a lot ending up in being strict (like only having Negi and Asuna) or doing the opposite and having too many threads.

So what about creating group characters discussion threads?

I'm shocked there's no fanfic thread! ...Well, no, not shocked, really, just sad. It'd be nice to have one, but I suppose if there isn't one now, that means not enough people were interested in it to have one. (Umm, does that make sense?)

If there actually is a fanfic thread, then you can ignore this, lol.
