So, now we are introduced with Atsumi and Atsushi's parents, both who were nearly the same height as Atsumi. I thought for sure that their father would be tall, but he is only a bit taller than their mother. So, where does Atsumi's sudden growth genes come from?
I love how the girl Atsumi talks to brings her over to the men's bath to meet her father. Atsumi really knows how to play innocent thanks to her childish look; however, that sadly had to come to the expense of using Atsushi to play the father role so that she can leave the bath without making a scene. Even when she goes to the women's bath, the women there were all surprised that she can stay calm by herself without her mother. It looks like looking like a child can only get one so far? |

Why did they fill the first season with nothing but 'Atsushi gets mistaken as a pervert' stuff, when this season is full of clever jokes that actually work and make me laugh? I'm enjoying it a lot more now than I did before.

True, but if the episodes weren't so short, I might have skipped this season altogether and not even bother with this one. If this were a fulltime anime show, I would've dropped it earlier and not even bother with this season.

The ball basket was the best part. Atsushi did not need to use any effort to jump and/or throw the ball in the basket. He's already tall enough to drop them all in the basket with ease. Yeah, the school sports festival is a good way to abuse Atsushi's physique. I love how their parents feign injuries after Atsushi tried to get approval. Since there is a part 2, maybe Sayo will come then and meet up with Atsumi for lunch, and possibly the misunderstanding would be cleared, but it is still up there.

I agree. How could they (the parents and security) still find Atsushi as an adult when they were fine with him at the field playing with their children at their school? Seriously, are the adults in this series that dense and simple-minded, or do they suffer from goldfish memory?

Or assume that they're just gigantic trolls and pretend like they don't know.
In any case, as long as they don't fall back to the 'Atsushi = pedophile" joke from season 1, I'm fine with that. At least Atsumi is getting her fair share now too. And poor Sayo, why hasn't anyone broken the bad news to her? I'm sure Atsumi is aware of Sayo's feelings for Atsushi, so why hasn't she told her the truth yet?
