After the one month break, looks like the manga is returning on May 9, when the next issue of Manga Time Kirara hits.
And so the school festival fast approaches...

While new chapter is taking a break might as well do something entertaining shall we?

If given a chance to create your own version of K-on Restart how will it turns out different from the canon version in the manga? Something like how you imagine new characters looks, personalities, roles, and interactions with the original casts as well as the university settings such as club room, dormitory layout etc whatever. Here’s mine:

I would have the original four to join a new K-on club like in the manga. However, the club president I have in mind is different. I imagine the uni K-on club consists of only president and vice president where the president is a talented but lazy genius ditz who can sing any song and perfectly master any type of musical instrument given few days of practice, and a vice president who is an outstanding guitarist as well as a song writer who is highly disciplined and has sort of cunning personality. In JWU University, they are a very well known musical goddess duo with tons of fans. Vice president deeply cares for the president and admires her musical talent but thinks that she is wasting it by being lazy. Vice president is planning to snap the president out of her lethargic nature by establishing JWU K-on club to recruit young and energetic freshmeats to motivate the president and well you know what she gets instead are four laidback bunches of people just like the president, how ironic. At first, vice president was relieved and really eager to train these new members so that they can become professionals, but not long after they entered had the VP soon grasped upon the truth at her dismay lololol life sure sucks for VP. Naturally, after realizing that her plan had backfired, VP starts throwing tantrum which reminds Yui in particular of Azusa while the cheerful president gets along with the new members just fine. VP eventually accepts the new members after seeing how well the band can perform on stage coupled with some persuasion from Mugi’s special teas and cakes. Even so, she will continue to scheme various ways to get the club to practice once in awhile, but mostly her plans end up failing which results in her joining the fun along with the rest of the club. As you can see, VP is quite a tsundere or more like scheme-dere. LOL For uni dormmates, I would have a few minor characters but not to the extent of joining K-on club like the original four. Their former classmates in anime like Himeko, Eri, or Ichigo would be nice. Somehow, I want to see that Ichigo sharing the dorm room with Mugi because of interesting personality clash and combination.

On Azusa’s side, I expected I would want genki girl for a new member as replacement of Yui and Ritsu. The thing is, without the presences of energetic and/or childlike character, I have a feeling that Sawako will turn into laziest person of HS casts. Too late for that I guess.

will we get to see HTT as a professional band
i wonder if the manga would be made anime(i mean from restart)

Whether they will become successful professional band, that depends on the author as Yui atm is planning to become a teacher as well. One thing I am certain is the orriginal five will remain best of friends.

About the possibility of having K-on restart anime, I have good reason to believe we won't be getting more anime anouncement until K-on manga vol. 5 is realeased first.

You see, in every vol. of K-on manga, there is an additional special chapter at the beginning of every book. These special chapters aren't normally segnificant to the plot, but for vol. 5 special, I believe it will mark an important plot point which covers how original four taken their first step into university. If you notice in the first chapter of restart the four had already moved into their dorm rooms which supposed to come afterward. This Vol. 5 Special must be included into the anime as well so there is no anime as long as vol. 5 isn't released yet. The best thing to do as of now is to be patient and wait a little longer.

ohhh, din't knew that
actually i started reading manga from restart

, as k-on is such a great anime and i couldn't sit still when season 2 was over, so then i found out the manga and started reading it

Oh, I see. Actually I also started following the manga after s2 anime as well. Have you read vol. 4 chp. 47 yet? If you haven't, I'd recommend you to read that since it shed some light to a certain character which anime haven't covered.

the chapter was great
mio getting so worked up over ritsu having a boy friend was cute and fun to see
and you know what even i can't imagine ritsu with a boyfriend, but her act at the beginning and her blush was priceless

Generally twice a month, one for the University side, and one for the High School side. Of course, kakifly will take breaks from time to time.

I'm seriously worried about what kakifly intend to do with the keionbu after the 3 graduate. Sumire and Nao are still in school, and I'm sure there's a number of readers there who are fans of these characters already... But seriously, I can't go on and wait for another 3 years till those 2 girls graduate -.-

And honestly, I still feel sad for Nodoka. She just got removed off the series like this because she's going overseas! OTL

you are right ,i my self i am fan of Nao, i'd like to see more of her .i think it's going to get difficult to write the manga now
