Why? why not just leave them there, even if the subs are out, doesnt mean everyone has seen them.

So I only think its comman sense too put spoilers for spoilers that would reveal details about the episode were it could spoil for those who dont want to know and spare the pain.

Well I understand the skipping fo spoilers when its bin a week since the subs came out and all, but still over all I think spoilers should be used even if he subs are out.

Talk about mood whiplash. The raw I watched left the commercials in... right at the end, before the ED.

So basically the tense silence after Rin yells at Okakura about what happened to Suzuri... ends with a cheerful voice announcing the Japan Illustrators Festival, accompanied by brightly colored illustrations.

Well, while I did like Suzuri *sniff* I can't really complain about how her death was set up and executed (no pun intended). Appropriately tragic and not as out-of-the-blue since she was mistaken for Rin, after all... and even if the GGP knew it wasn't her (did they? Couldn't tell) the protesters still thought it was, and that's what counts, really.

Man, watching it having been spoiled already, I kept seeing things (like the good-luck photo of Rin) and going, "Oh god that's another death flag..."

That's going a wee bit too far imo. People usually wait for the subs to be out or 24 hours after and then drop the spoiler tag. It's not our problem if late comers can't keep up.

You would have thought that at that distance there were ways to get her off of that rideback without killing her. Also, they had visuals. They should have known that it wasn't Rin. I think that GGP wanted Rin dead and that's why that officer beheaded Suzuri.

Yeah, that's why I said earlier... it doesn't really matter if the GGP knew it wasn't Rin, because the protesters thought it was. Even if it wasn't the real Nazo no Rideback Shoujo, it'd still destroy the morale of the protesters to see her killed.

I think that I was disappointed by this episode...

Maybe knowing the dialogue will reveal something unexpected, but visually the story for the episode was unexciting and predictable. About the only thing that I'm curious about is the meeting between Tamayo's brother and Romanov's aide/subordinate/walking cleavage...

Yeah, the GGP had plenty of time to realize that it wasn't Rin on Balon with their video footage from the event, so I can't see any confusion on their end of things. As soon as I saw Suzuri wearing Rin's riding suit, I figured that things would go badly for her. After people started thinking that she was the RideBack Shoujo, then I thought that things would be really bad. Finally, when she went riding with the flag while the GGP RideBacks were watching, I was wondering how much would be left of her. While seeing "the RideBack Shoujo" killed might affect the protesters/general public, won't that make her "resurrection" that much more impressive when Rin returns to Ridebacking? There is a delay waiting for that, or for the news of who the GGP did kill to work its way out to the public (which shouldn't be that hard, since many of the protesters were probably students at the college, and news should spread quickly there even without the usual media outlets participating [or is the school closed down?]). Well, I guess that they gave Rin a few reasons to use Fuego again.

The Suzuri flashbacks/obituary in place of the next episode preview almost had me laughing at their attempts to play up the sadness of what we just watched. <sigh>

The best thing about the episode is that we get to finally see Rin in clothing that isn't the white dress or the yellow riding suit!!!

You know, this episode might have had more impact for me, if some people hadn't already carelessly let slip what would happen before relentlessflame stepped in. So, to those of you responsible (you know who you are), here's a big, fat ,,|,,

Nonetheless, it was an effective episode that built up the tension well enough, given its specific limitations. Attention spans must be dipping very sharply nowadays if viewers immediately write-off dialogue-heavy episodes as "boring". Although, I'd have to admit:

Hey, I found Suzuri to be refreshing. She's the second character that I came across that got drunk on Fanta/orange pop.

Her death looked like murder. Should be harder for them explain it away as an accident with so many witnesses. Some people will be angered and scream bloody obvious murder. Wouldn't surprise me if the terrorist used this incident.

I agree that she was annoying, a little stupid and I didn't like her but the GGP/white riders went to far again. Don't they white riders know how to aim for the machine instead for the driver, grab the driver or just put an arm out?

Why I didn't like Suzuri much as a character (her way of speech is waaaaay too annoying for me) I think it was a bit too much for her to meet such an gruesome end. Literally the GGP didn't have to take off her head like that...nor was there any reason to but you can trust them to cover up the truth using the media and to glorify the handy work of that grunt. I can't even imagine the mess that the crowd must have seen and it was only natural for the "ussoda" line to keep repeating itself. In a way, not showing the state of Suzuri's body is way more gruesome than showing it...they just let our imaginations run wild.

But I more or less saw it coming right when they mistook Suzuri for Rin...

Man, I hate virus wipes.

So, thanks to a coworker, I caught a virus on my laptop this weekend that forced me to wipe my HD and reinstall my OS. >=|

I lost all the scripts I had for the show (up through 8) that I had been working on the last few weeks. I really don't want to do them again so I think I'll just drop the anime. Instead, I'll focus my efforts on the manga since I had back-ups of that.
