After doing little research, this series is running on two magazines at once (different story for each magazine though), Shonen Gangan and Young Gangan.
The one that just finished recently is the one serialized on Shonen Gangan, meanwhile the one on Young Gangan is still running.

Shonen Gangan one ends on chapter 53, while Young Gangan is now on chapter 90. Based on those number of chapters, I guess the scanlate group used the tankoubon numbering that combine chapters from both magazines?
