One thing bothers me.

Have Nao tried to play Zhiend songs to her brother? I wonder if recorded and live performance would have the same result. And if not, then why.

But they've never been captured by the bad guys before. Unless they reveal that they actually had been captured by them but forgot it. (somehow, which doesn't make too much sense)

I really hope they don't skip Yuu and Tomori's "date" to the live concert for an episode all about whatever the heck this is; I was really looking forward to seeing their relationship progress some more. (it's a Key anime; there almost has to be a couple in it)

What Ayumi?! I'm getting a Matrix vibe from the preview. Like the world we viewers know in Charlotte is an alternative reality that was enforced on the captured through some devices.

^^ Me too, my first thought was The Matrix. Title for ep 9 is another tease as it has been translated to "The World Not Present".

I also found an interesting oddity when I was rewatching some parts of ep 5. Specifically that night scene on the hill with Tomori and Yuu talking. Tomori said her dream was to film a music video or documentary for ZHIEND, what a big difference to her answer in ep 8 when she said she only listen to their music and have no interest in meeting the band/members. She was lying and there probably should be a reason for that.

Considering Maeda attempted to address the topic of endless everyday in Angel Beats!, I wouldn't be surprised if the school setting turns out to be "The World Not Present," and all these weird inconsistencies are just glitches in the matrix. I'm getting the chills just thinking about it.

Lol. Takajo couldn't understand anything after reading about post-rock on Wikipedia. That really does happen if you have no idea what something is and you're asking Wikipedia.

Yuu is now trying to start a normal life without his Imouto. It's tough since he is so used to her being around.

Lol when Tomori just called in everyone to see Yusa's new music video. Those scenes with the blind singer were funny. Yuu's idea really worked and the onii-chan is remembering his imouto, even if just her name. Because of the blind singer, Yuu has come to realize that he has changed thanks to Tomori.

She doesn't seem especially concerned about being there and getting put into an MRI tube, either. Maybe she just thinks it's a normal hospital and she's being treated after the building fell on her.
