Need something like this...
Seiken no Blacksmith.
Any other anime like it? I'm looking for the kind of anime in which the titular or main character has a younger apprentice or helper and their relationship is very close. And the story is of adventure, or something. Something like Seiken no Blacksmith. If there's some ecchi or moe (or even loli) goodness then it's even better. Lol. Thanks. |

Darker than black: Ryuusei no futago
KIBA Soul Eater Kekkaishi Busou Renkin They're not ALL of the same mood as the sacred blacksmith, but I think they're all above par. Also, it's usually the younger main characters having older masters. |

Not exactly that type, but I still think would like Seirei no Moribito since has similar type of relationship.
Also Sora No Woto has that type of relationship, but I wouldn't call it an adventure per say.

I actually really really hate The Sacred Blacksmith but...
I recommend: Serei no Moribito - Bodyguard protecting a prince from assassins. Sword of the Stranger - Same but just a regular kid. Darker than Black Season II - Assassin having to tag a kid along with him because he has no choice and trains her a bit. Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom - Assassin training an apprentice. None of them have ecchi and moe except for Darker than Black II to some extent.

I'm already getting Seirei no Moribito. And will check out Escaflowne.
I understand where you're coming from. I've read a lot of comments about Sacred Blacksmith, but I was looking for something else that others weren't, and Sacred Blacksmith fulfils what I'm looking for, to an extent, so I don't find it as terrible as others do. Oh and thanks for all the suggestions. |

Obviously, I fourth Seirei no Moribito. But let's break out the wayback machine for Rurouni Kenshin. There's a lot of adventure, and Kenshin has several younger comrades who look up to him as a teacher and protector - most obviously Yahiko, but also Sano and Kaoru.

Em... Thanks for suggesting but if the anime is too long (like over 50 eps) I may need to think more about it before choosing it. Of course the plot and charcaters come first.
Queen's Blade has lots of ecchi, but it's all huge breast stuff, is it right? Coz I prefer small ones to big ones if you ask me. Lol. Still, thanks. Please keep it coming, if there are more. |
