I've just started playing Metro 2033. Visually, it's very appealing; nice attention to detail. However so far I'm finding it a bit repetitive. We'll see what surprises await, it's still a bit early in the game to be slagging it off.
Spoiler for Metro 2033 rant:

I actually put my Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on hold until the patch concerning the Unhandled Error arrives. Completed up to chapter 10 on Knight with every trial, gem and possible upgrade so far done. Wouldn't want to start over now.
Looking for a good RPG and noticed I didn't play an actually really good one since the PS2/GC/Xbox days. I hate this gen. The only thing that seems to be improving are the graphics, which have the lowest priority for me. Eternal Sonata and Resonance of Fate are the only ones I'm considering for now. Eternal Sonata seems to be sold out everywhere though, and even my favourite online store no longer sells it. And RoF is still somewhere between "should I?" and "I don't think I want it". It seems intriguing enough if it wasn't for the apparently horribly told story (story is supposed to be good though), the die-hard repetitive battle system und the tons of (though optional) grinding. Already played FF XIII, Dragon Age, (both are mediocre, especially DA has so very much wasted potential) Demons Souls (which was more of a Dungeon Crawler than an RPG'ish RPG really) and Mass Effect. |

Lost Planet Colonies - this game is a visual treat, this game deserves to be mentioned together with Crysis, Metro and other visually stimulating games imho, but graphics isn't the only good thing about it gameplay wise its quite a treat as well. For those interested some gameplay footage and screens can be found here.
And of course i'm still playing Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced (screens and some extra comments by me found here)

But when it comes down to it, JR, aren't all games kill pawns, defend from more pawns, maybe a boss fight, etc, rinse and repeat? I really enjoyed Metro for it's atmosphere and immersion. And if you think you've mastered all the enmies, wait until you meet a Librarian... One tip though, when you get to Polis, buy the heavy armour if you missed it at Armoury and all the ammunition you can as you don't have a chance to spend your Military Grade Ammunition past that point. It'll only be used to for killing critters and you can get much better results with five times as many "dirty" rounds.

Naruto Shippuden:Ultimate Ninja Storm 2(definitely better than the first despite the shorten ougi's which is one of the few things i hate about the game) Vanquish(beat the game already, playing threw a second time) NBA 2k11 Sengoku Basara 3 Xbox 360: Halo Reach

Me want! D:
Enslaved is already mine ... I'm looking forward to the Pigsy DLC! Yeterday I finally finished the epicness that is Final Fantasy IV (DS) for the very first time. What a great end ;') I feel all fluffy inside :3 Also back to Little Big Planet again .. building around a little. I'm looking forward to the sequel, so I guess that's why I can't put it down for long I don't have a lot of patience, though, so I'll never create a truly impressive level xD It's enough for a rolling zebra, though Uh and in case of frustration: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3) Still a noob, but I'm getting better ... I think. I'm not as used to the shooter genre as much as others. I do get compliments for my balls when playing Halo: Reach, though |

I feel that MGS has quite a steep difference between each difficulties. I've obtained Big Boss Emblem long time ago, and It made me don't want to play in The Boss Extreme difficulty anymore >_< except the boss fights
