I know GEDPro had a sticky about this somewhere but i can't seem to find it anywhere

(although tcmpg was ok, the trial ran out). Anyway I'm looking for a program to convert my anime onto dvds so that a dvd player can read them. I've spent a lot of time looking for something but i'm at loss, most likely because i'm looking for the wrong thing ^^;;

If anyone could help me find some FREEWARE, preferably, that accomplishes this i would love them forever

As an afterthought,
I have WinDVD creator, Nero homestart essentials (its 7 i think), and avid free dv
could any of those programs do this task? I tried on all of them but im not very good at this so i dont know if i did something wrong or didnt do something right
