Negima Live Action!?

okay... right... implied pseudo-yuri action with Chach and Evangeline ..... all they have left is shotacon sex with ... o wait that'd be yuri too.... sort of....

argh.... all the potential... just slaughtered. I see they did put a blonde wig and contacts on Evangeline for a somewhat nice vampirish effect.

I really think I'd have rather seen a 'hentai' parody of Negima than this pretty sad adaptation O.o

... at this point its main value is the MST3K effect.

I found it funny that they cut corners by not animating the bats directly but instead just the shadows they make on the walls. By keeping the animation polygon count low they save animation time and thus funding.

It would also appear that those two has better managers as they didn't have to actually touch lips. A sign of better negotiating power with the managers against the studio to do something they don't want.

Hopefully, the Kyoto arc will be covered next, with the live action series remembering:

1. the Pactios that Negi is supposed to make with Nodoka, Setsuna, and Konoka (I holding off watching this show until I know for certain that Nodoka will Pactio in this version);
2. the character of Kotarou Inugami (a character that, while a main character in the manga, is completely ignored in both anime versions).

By the way, during the recap episode 13, I noticed that during the Chisame/Chiu episode, they spelled "Idol Queen" as "Idle Queen." Heh...

Yeah the pactio was...interesting for sure I liked Asuna's card at least.

The series seems to be moving away from the manga now, from ep 14 with what happened to the cheerleaders. They could be doing slightly similar to the Negima?! series.

There's soft subs for it but they're only up to Ep 5 I think.

Step 1.
Download the subs by Sharm from somewhere within this topic lol. The subs will be in .smi format

Step 2.
From where you downloaded the .smi file, Copy the .smi file into the same folder to where the Negima Live Action Drama is located.


Step 3.
Rename the .smi file so that it is the same name as the video it corresponds to. (I'm using Ep.1 here as an example~ Okay! I've downloaded the subs to the first episode in .smi format and its name is "Mahou_Sensei_Negima_01_eng.smi" and the Negima Ep.1 is called "Mahou Sensei Negima! ep01 (704x396 DivX6)" so i rename the .smi file to "Mahou Sensei Negima! ep01 (704x396 DivX6).smi")

*Edit* IMPORTANT - Lol~ I forgot to add something really important here, Remember to add .smi to the end of the renamed file lol xD!

Step 4.
Hmm.... I think you're done~ Now all thats left is double click the first episode and watch(The good looking gir- Okay! Nevermind i said that!~ lol Enjoy watching Negima with Subs! xD) aaand Yup! You do the same to the each and every Episode of Negima Live that is to come! lol xD!! And! Here's how the subs should look like~(Or at least i think it should look like on your screen lol xD)

Well I just watched ep 24 to see how far the series has sunk and I gotta say it's pretty deep down there.

They took a different interpretation with the Chao arc and most of the ep consists of her brain fucking the rest of the class. She even got the better of Eva.

Its always a bit strange seeing an anime turn into a liveaction movie... but they
did the same thing with death note and it turned out pretty good

plus im looking forward to seeing all the strip scenes in live action, lol

Oh, I lose. I was wrong (wishful thinking?). I was thinking of episode 2, but that was just Negi using magic to stop Asuna and Ayaka from fighting. Sorry, my mistake. Should have made sure first :/
