Of course I saw the scene, and I'll agree in that scene he was a penus, but he's that way in both versions.

Overall I think he's nicer in the dubb than the subb, but again that's just me.

As Kallen concludes her duel with Suzaku, the Rounds do battle with the Black Knights, who have some very devastating surprises in store for their old 'masters.'

Bismarck, Gino, and even Luciano are all well portrayed and the latter most has gone from a cookie-cutter-fan-hate magnet to a God of War I am actually afraid of.

Also, Kallen comforts Lelouch. Yeah, you heard me.

Turn Nineteen: Everybody Wants to Rule The World is up for Code Geass: Dirge of Daedalus.


In this Chapter: Cornelia has to get new batteries from Japan, Nunnally picks Jason's brain, Rakshata drools over the Archangels, Kallen makes a pass at Enoch, Lelouch learns that you reap what you sow, Schneizel tells Nina about his new toy, and Sthenno's plan gets a monkey-wrench thrown in it.

Wow. Why did Euphie flip out over Lelouch? And he'd already suffered a ton of blowback over the SAZ, and she more than anyone would know that it was an accident. Not to mention that Nunnally was never used as a tool, and was only Geassed in order to be relieved of control and responsibility over FLEIJA/Damocles.

Spoiler for Explanation of why the Euhpinator has a conniption:

I rewrote that scene over a dozen times (which is why I didn't get to posting this Chapter until today).

I rationed that Euphemia would have nightmares of killing innocent women, children, and men in the massacre that was caused by Lelouch's stupidity in addition to being shot by Lelouch (who she knew thought that he had killed her which he says to her face in the scene I wrote).

Therefore it didn't matter to Euhpie that Lelouch Geassed her accidentally.
He didn't show her any remorse over it (I know he has some remorse over it, it's just that at that moment with Euphie he called her an Imposter and thus a liar and she got infuriated)

If a person accidently sets a fire an kills thousands of people do we give that person a pass?
No, of course we don't it's negligence and that is exactly what Lelouch did to Euphie and she was pissed off about it.
What set her off enough to shoot him was that he was still acting like the arrogant ass that caused the massacre he made her commit.

As for why Euhpie said that Lelouch used Nunnally as his tool, that is her opinion based on him leaving Nunnally and Suzaku behind to build his vision of the world while he killed himself off.
Euphie felt that Nunnally was being used by Lelouch after his death for his plan.
Euphie's anger about Lelouch Geassing Nunnally is based solely on her own experience.
It isn't why Lelouch used Geass on Nunnally that pissed off Euphie, it's that he did use it at all.
Besides, Lelouch could have simply taken the septre from Nunnally he didn't need to Geass her (unless he is such a wuss that his crippled sister could kick his ass )

Hmmm. The "imposter" thing just seemed like him freaking out. Hope he gets to explain his side of the story.

And I'm pretty sure Lelouch cast Geass upon Nunnally to demonstrate how far he was willing to go to be hated. (Nunnally specifically considered it cowardly and despicable.

That aside, this new side of hers seems more Mr. Pink than the adorable pink-haired princess we knew from the original. Are we going to get any backstory on her?

If the "imposter" comment came across that way then that is a failure on my part.
I meant for it to seem as though Lelouch was in denial and simply refusig to believe that she ws still alive...thus calling the Red Dragon a liar.

Euhpie isn't aware of the reasons why Lelouch Geassed Nunnally.
She is only privy to the fact that HE DID Geass her and that was enough to anger Euhpie who feels that there is no good reason for Lelouch to have ever used his power on his full blooded sister Nunnally.

Yes, there is a sidestory about why Euphie's nightmares are so bad and why she's gone from sweet and innocent to a more mature, somewhat tarnished, individual.
She is more like Suzaku now than her former self in that she is still a very dear and good person on the inside, but the scars of what happened in S1 and R2 still haunt her so she's now developed a side of her personality that's akin to her older sister Cornelia.

I do have a side-story (which is Euhpie and Suzaku talking right before they show up to speak to Lelouch in Chapter 19) that explains the hell Euphie went through, how Enoch helped her remain sane, her training in the martial arts, and how she lived through getting shot by Lelouch.

The side-story is called Steps which has a dual meaning because Euphie and Suzaku are walking down the stairs towards Lelouch's private quarters while they discuss the events that led her to becoming the Red Dragon.

The story is not finished (although it's really short..about 4 pages long).
I was planning on posting it after I finish the main story.
