You mean the twin bunnies? My favorite is Anya, the twintail. Just make her hair green and I'm in heaven! Though, Linda's not so bad. I think I'll take her too, a twintail for each hand
Of course, the twins have nice legs. Heck, they all do. Rio sure could use some thigh high stockings, I'll say that much |

I don't see it causing people betting their life savings, but being used to encourage "just one more". Here's an example of the type of thing they can do: Rio randomly appears on the machine and it appears she causes the machine to give the house less of an edge and thus pay slightly better between two random timing intervals. Reality being that the machine detected the continued loss and already randomly decided everything in advance and thus showed Rio to convince the person to stay longer and make "one more" bet. They already have machines with similar ideas in video pachinko. You can extend this idea to a cosplayer advertising a parlor too. It's also like how casinos advertise how much a slot machine has paid out under the dual ideas of: "A machine pays out more means I'm more likely to win" to the inexperienced gambler and "A machine that has paid out less means it is statistically more likely to pay out more because of regression to the mean" to the gambler who uses math. Reality is that neither will give you an advantage for the time you are there. |

Just watched the episode, it wasn't good... but wasn't bad either. It's a bit weird 'cause there's no plot to beging with but I'm still watching it the next week... don't know what that says about me xP
About Rio's working in the casino, I think she might work around 20 minutes per day: people win and keep playing their wallets out (like someone already said). It's all about publicity that Owner (nice name for, well, the owner) manage to pull through. And Rio's mother was mentioned too, maybe the plot goes down that line (?)

My thoughts the first ep of this anime: Not that good. Not that bad either... just average.
Still, I'll continue watching this. I'm a bit interested of the story plot. Besides, Rio's pretty hawt Yep yep... most positive we'll get to see her mum... dead or alive that is XD

A few minutes in, and I wasn't that impressed... Personally, Rio's one of those characters who are better off as stand-alone mascots...
On another note, after watching the first few minutes and closing the Firefox tab, my anti-virus software picked up a whole bunch of viruses...

Yeah she is xD sexiness.
On the plot of the story though, I wasn't intrigued by it. So my first impression of the episode ain't really that good. But it's too early for me to say that... so I'll just stay tuned if ever this gets interesting. |

Well, I was expecting something along the lines of Umi no Monogatari. This? This was something... else.
Really boring until the last part, which was short lived. I really dig Rio's character design but I wonder if she's really suited for anime. |

The only thing they have in common is their origin. Rio, for what it was, could never turn out like Umi Monogatari because the source setting would be kind of tough to take in that direction. But, it's moving in its own direction, and that's an admirable goal as well.

This is the thing, ja. When I am at that table, and she walks in, and I make that bet, she handles MY balls. Blow on it, talk to it, kiss it, I don't care, I place the bet, she grabs my ball, and the satisfaction and pure bliss of the win afterwards is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Oh wait... I may seem strange for saying this, but come on episode 02! |

I didn't think UnM was that great, either, despite having Sato Junichi's touch. I was thinking more along the lines of the proprietors not really caring about where the series went. You're right, though. Not much wiggle room when it comes to Rio.
