It doesn't work like that. From my understanding he could only take it apart and put it back together. He is "loading" an object's own history to sort of overwrite it in the present. He can't just make up his own configuration.

Besides, going that deep would probably be catastrophic. The energy release from breaking that kind of bond is still present. Thats pretty much why Tats is considered a living nuke.

Miyuki wasn't just sealing Tatsuya's power.

In order to seal Tatsuya's power, Miyuki spent half of her own magic on her brother.

The fact that Miyuki's magic went out of control was a side effect of suppressing her brother's magic.

Now, with Tatsuya's might unleashed, Miyuki's personal power was also released.

Wth ? Since when Miyuki seal tats's power ? And why ? W/e, I guess it's going to be explained in the futur chap/vol.

I found it funny that suddenly everyone are so strong. What they showed during Nine Schools Competition is nothing compared to this.

Not that I'm complaining.

They are not strong, the ones that are strong are Miyuki, Mari, Mayumi, and Kanon.

They magics are dominating allowing for the others to make use of their magics without restraint. Besides the 9th schools competition has a lot of restrictions which effectively doesnt allow op magics like the one of Miyuki and the specialities of Mari, something which is close to a kunoichi. Restricting CQC, which is what a lot of the people present is renowed for.

of course they are strong they all belong to the hundred family except for Mari who was training with the Chiba house, and you forgot Erika...Erika is probably the most unexpected for them, bcuz shes just a course 2 student and can rip apart a tank in one go? thats not strong???

It's his natural abilities honed by years of torture and training. The only thing unnatural about him is the flash cast thing.

His ability to analyze magic sequences is thanks to the Artificial Magic Processor in his brain from the operation. It is thanks to this ability that he can use Gram Demolition so easily. Come to think of it, wasn't Elemental Sight granted by the operation, too?

magic sequence Analyses is due to both elemental sight which allow him to analyze any information structure it helps he can recall it because of flash cast but the bulk of the work is done by elemental sight. However elemental sight was born because Tatsuya both decomposition and Restoration one which breaks down information structure to the most basic components the other which require reading the entire information structure, if you think about it with the combination of all this tatsuya is super amazing in any field you look at it he towers over others he really is a living national treasure.

I agree with you,, Tatsuya ES is one of the eyes of god in this universe because without it he cant erase and restore information if he cant see it...and with ES he can know any secrets behind any magic, if he was born with a more higher processor he can maybe use ES to copy any type of magic, if he ever seen and he can even outcast the original due to Yotsuba experiment of flash cast!

9 schools battle banned all A rank magic for use against other participants. No surprise there the characters now show much greater strength without that limitation

Besides, Juumonji used his Phalanx in 9 school battle as well, only this time instead of placing it solely as a shield he's also placing it inside other things/people to deal damage. The spell was at the same power, the only difference was using it differently IIRC.

She is strong, but she is not in a level where she can handle batallions by herself. Or survive that battle without any injury. In the other hand, Miyuki, Mayumi, and Kanon(to a minor degree) posses the ability to put the battlefield under their control. Erika cannot even get close to a tank without the probability of the tank shooting her dead. Which is why they seem so powerful at first sight. Miyuki being there after evoking her magic, the probability of a injury for a gun is zero. For magic is also close to zero because of how powerful is her interference strenght is. Mari on the other hand is versatil. And a shrewd strategist at that, she has forms of combat form close to mid distance, showing she doesnt need to get close to the tank to destroy it. And although she doesnt have the strenght of the other three just by being there she gives a boost at the possible attacks one group is capable of doing.

I think you're right about Elemental Sight and analysis, but Gram Demolition is just shooting a chunk of Psions at someone. He can use it so well because he has an abnormally high Psion count (it's over nine thousand!!!). He and Miyuki inherited that trait from their father. That said, having elemental sight definitely improves his usage of the skill.

Don't you have to identify the targeted magic as well as have a high psion count?
