Actually, scrap that, anyone think it's possible to make one out of the Shiori bit in 00:13-00:17 of the OP? The teary eyed one. Somehow managed to forget about that bit >_>

The irony of having incredulous amounts of animation detail is that it is difficult to make a .GIF out of a scene without having an equally incredulous filesize.

I am not satisfied with the above, mainly because I had to cut down on the colour-rate and the fps. You can barely see her mouth open. I had to cut out the eye-blinking.

Not AnimeSuki-friendly, and this is after cutting out frames and such...

1. Snowflakes. Gazillions and gazillions of MOVING snowflakes.

1. Hair... OMG, the HAIR! In motion...

2. Most realistic frost breath( from Nayuki) I have ever seen in anime... The last time I saw such detail was in Dawn of War( a 3D game)...

I like the second one though, mouth open or not it's got a kind of cautious yet cute feel to it *yoink*. Looks like Kanon's not going to be very gif friendly with all the animation detail though. Maybe the AS size should be raised especially for it >_>

ADD] Oh yeah, forgot to mention the following. During Clip04, whenever Yuuichi started talking, I somehow visualised him morphing into Kyon. It is very disconcerting. I'm like... Kanon, I'm watching Kanon, not TMoSH; but dang... the voice association is too strong.

I may need to stop watching TMoSH for now and start a regime to purge my brain of the voice association.

That OP was magnificient. I really loved the snow and Nayuki's animation. Ayu's wings even had an upgrade and her pics in and animation at the end of the OP were beautiful.

Kanon definitely needs its own subforum. Come on mods, don't be stingy!

It'll probably get one when it starts airing, Air did after all. They probably don't think there's enough discussion going at the moment to warrant one and to be honest I'd agree with them. We'd have a short prelude discussion, a reasonably sized game one (most of which has already been said and needs the new anime to spur up discussion in), and maybe images and merchandise.

And yay the Clannad reference. KyoAni need to do that too >_>

(I can actually imagine Haruhi dropping in on all subsequent KyoAni releases, either handing out flyers of SOS brigade or investigating something, although that is not likely given Tonigawa's+ publisher Kadokawa the one that reserves all rights regarding Haruhi).
Well I for one would love to see Misuzu or any of the AIR cast making a cameo over that snowy town. Whether it'd be a crow making a fly-by, Potato on TV, a motorcyclist wearing a helmet with 'Aira' on it...

Well it's definitely possible, we've already got the Lia shop after all I want them to suddenly start playing one of the less summery tracks from the Clannad OST, but I don't think there's much chance of that
