OP: AiRI - Dreamer
ED: Takagaki Ayahi, Hayami Saori, Seto Asami - Shiokaze no Harmony

I cheated for the ED's artists because I'm not 100% sure 白浜坂 should be romanized as Shirahamazaka, but the song's technically credited as from the "Shirahamazaka High School Chorus Club".

Very excited to get an AiRI OP on something seemingly better than... um, Manyuu Hikenchou! Then getting one of the songs from the main cast was a given, and a very welcome one at that.

According to Fansub Wiki, which probably got it from some Japanese source, this premieres July 1 at 10:30 P.M JST on TV Kanagawa.

I can confirm that such information was published in the latest TV guide (Kanto edition). It would appear to be fairly accurate, though surprising that a show would air that early.

Give the anime a shot, if you don't like it, fine, don't watch it. If you like it, great, keep watching.

So much negativity about something that isn't even released yet!

Really? As far as I can see, most of the negativity is simply lowered expectations based on the trailer.

There is a lot of Okada bashing though.

Not really but it's still depressing. In a perverse way, a part of me actually wants Tari Tari to turn out bad so everyone can see that Okada is neccessary (even with the baggage it inevitably entails)...

Tentatively excited for this. No Okada means no trolling (probably?) but she does make some great drama so that's a plus minus for Tari Tari which leaves it to some place that I can't get excited about as much. Still it's PA Works and I haven't hated a single one of their works yet.

That's even more unimpressive than the first one.

What piss poor choice of music. Character designs not improved from previous PV which looked subpar. Reused footage (but I won't blame them for that). The hell PA... first Another and now this, what happened to your glorious visuals?

Expectations ... plummeted.

As much as I hate to say it, but yeh the absence of Mari Okada seems to be its doom.

At this rate I think I'll need to count on Koichoco and/or Kokoro Connect to give me my slice of life fix instead.

Besides the designs (which is looking more and more abysmal the more I see it), it does look like it will deliver in terms of war shipping since there's actually highschool guys this time (based on the pv that i've seen).

Parts of that PV (pretty much everything with the title) look like they were done with Flash. And the train at the beginning just stops like someone hit the pause button. The only scene that looks like normal PA quality is when the girl looks at the flowers.

I have to laugh at the people who talk about "PA Works quality". They must not have seen the abysmally ugly Angel Beats.

And what made Hanasaku Iroha as good as it was was the talent of Masahiro Ando. Certainly not Okada.

It does look pretty meh, but it's the absence of Okada here and the presence of Shin on Kokoro Connect that makes me still lean towards this one as having a slightly better chance to be interesting.

I had this same thought after having watched Hyouka PV and sadly that was not the case. So this time I will not count on that

Anyways, I've a mixed feeling about this anime because it's SoL and SoLs usually are not my cup of tea. From the other hand it's produced by PA works and their visuals usually, except AB, catch me, specifically chara designs. That means I have to watch it. So it is a draw, 50/50.

About Okada, well, looking at Evol and Hanasaku Iroha I don't know what could be better, with or without her. If number of characters really affects Okada's abilities Evol and Hana have a large cast, so probably in this case where I counted 5 characters, and assuming that males will be supporting chara (no really romance subplots), probably she could have done a good work. But if I think again at that shibari stuff (that was her work, wasn't it?) I'm fine w/o her

Naturally the director is extremely important, but if we're specifically talking about the storyline then if the Series Composition is done by a separate person then unless I'm mistaken, the Director mostly takes the role of an Editor of the storyline, rather than the writer. I think it's fair to give Okada credit for HanaIro (both good and bad). I mean she didn't get the Individual Kobe Award for nothing.
