Well, they've confirmed the anime to be continuing into the third year:

And judging by the page of advertising that the ANN article links to, we'll be continuing right into the next manga arc shortly after the anime finishes the current arc.

Not to mention... anything that Natsu doesn't think as a "transportation device" doesn't make Natsu sick.

This makes me so happy. I'm loving the current manga arc, so i'm all for it. I don't care about catching up with the manga as long as we'll see the arc animated.

I think the reason why Natsu doesn't get motion sickness is because that Coco is a living creature.
That is why Natsu can also use Happy as his "wings"

Great episode, i particularly liked seeing Wendy in action this episode. She was awesome. Those RPG like element. I kind of figured Mystogan bowed out on purpose when i first saw it and show nuff he did. Glad to see the cat is alive of course but we all knew he wasn't going to die. lol i laughed when they showed Gajeel chewing on Droma's tail. Finally at the end we got to see the start of the fight we been wanting to see since it was teased(ErzaxErza), the ED song blends in so well with it.lol.

Until that face-plant Wendy was actually looking pretty cool this episode. She's really worked since the last major arc to improve her abilities. Her roar was pretty solid in terms of attack, but the support spells really were what stole the show there. Being able to boost up her friends speed and having another for power really helps. If she can avoid falling on her face then she can even make herself more dangerous.

Knightwalker certainly is getting pretty annoying. Time for a real Erza vs. Erza matchup to shut that one up.

Just thinking about it, but feels like Fairy Tail is going to lose even more of it's top wizards. Mystogan is the Prince of that Kingdom after all. Considering the current King is a lunatic they are going to need solid leadership moving forward and he certainly could do it. But in that case he could hardly go back with them. We'll have to see, but first Laxus and now Mystogan. Have to pick up the slack there Erza .

Yes! Wendy in action. My favorite little Dragon Slayer looks so much better when animated. It's a bit of a shame they focused on copying her manga poses though, that dropped the quality of the animation rather noticeably. Still frames were a flaw of the earlier episodes too.

And the answer of 'why doesn't Natsu get sick on a Legion' was answered too. Love those little touches.

What animation, it was more like coloured panels. Hope next week we get an actual fight, would be a shame to downgrade that one...Looking forward to the rest of the Metal Gear fight though, should be even better in the end.

For an awesome episode it sure had crappy animation. Kafriel is right, it looked like colored panels with limited movement. I really expected more but eh, they probably put more budget in ScarletVSKnightwalker part II fight. Wendy was pretty cool during this episode, casting all sorts of power ups.

Best part was the 3 dragon slayers teaming up. Wendy was badass until that face plant. Lol Gajeel eating the tail. So Lily is alive and working with Mystogan on some plan. Finally round 2 of Erza vs Erza starts. Looks like the reinforcements arrive.

They're trying to copy and emphasize the poses the characters strike in the manga. They did it before in the earlier episodes, and I had hoped they'd gone beyond that. I mean, if they're already changing the anim from dragon to "dragon that transforms into a knight" why bother with copying and emphasizing poses?

True, though Mirajane's trauma is probably still going to keep her from actively going on jobs. While she can play a role if the guild is attacked directly I'm not sure how involved she will be. She did snap at Freed, but couldn't really finish the fight either so whether she could go out on jobs is hard to say.

Gildarts is around which definitely helps, though he could easily head off on another crazy job and vanish for a long time.

I still think Erza Scarlet has the advantage over Erza Knightwalker. Scarlet's powers raise both offense AND defense, whereas Knightwalkers raise mostly only offensive ability.
