Thats still a long time to wait for the DVD.

I was hoping if some people have the raw already in their cellphones, buy don't wanna hurt the creator's wallet, they might have no problem in sharing it after is out of all cinemas.

It was a long shot anyway, i guess we just have to keepwaiting.

It seems to be this book, Mook's "Roman Album" guidebook for the movie. There's no listing for the DVD on amazon yet, nor has there been any news on the website itself, but I'm sure people are checking and will post once they find any info.

Spoiler for here's what happened when the Q was asked in the radio show...:

• When is the second movie, Sayonara no Tsubasa going to be released? (Nakamura et al: here it is!)

Kawamori-sensei: The second movie will be...(he pauses, music starts for ad break...)
Nakamura et al: argh!

But they're apparently looking at sprucing up a few scenes for the DVD/BD release.

And a somewhat amusing answer that's loosely connected with the first movie...one of the questions put to Kawamori-sensei in the radio show was:

Nakamura: "Ginmugi batake-san" asks - If you made a spinoff work for Macross Frontier, who would you make the protagonist?

Kawamori: The protagonist? Hm...who would be best as the protagonist, huh? Well, I've said that I'll give Klan her own movie before...

More about the Sheryl manga here that was mentioned in the image thread.

Shōjo manga creator Kariko Koyama has launched Sheryl ~Kiss in the Galaxy~, a series based on last year's Macross Frontier ~Itsuwari no Utahime~ film, in the July issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine on Friday. Shoji Kawamori, the creator of the Macross science-fiction romance franchise and the director of the Macross Frontier movie, is collaborating on the manga's original story. The first manga installment covers the early years of the idol singer character Sheryl Nome in vocal school — a storyline not seen in the animation thus far.

Hearing that Kawamori will be apart of the creation has me really interested. Especially seeing as how it'll focus on the early years of Sheryl.
