I honestly cant believe Miyano isnt in this XD When they started their "intros" my mind immediately went into Ouran Tamaki mode. But I do think all the seiyuu pulled it off great, I hope we get to see the bad guys change next epi. I want to hear more Kamiyan.

This show is too fabulous. The jokes are so bad they're good. I am deeply moved by all the love. Not really but I'll keep watching it because why not, it's entertaining either way.

It's parody of course, but the genre here is most definitely Mahou Shounen. That's really the whole point.

Where the system is designed to inevitably screw the participants over into some horrifying fate worse than death, the mascot may be malicious, Magical girls are child soldiers, endless war, people who die stay dead, the corruption often outright kills the victims permanently, etc....

But for now, I'd seat back and enjoy the playing out of classical Mahou Shojou tropes... using Bishounens.

Okay, I have to say that the first half of this was so off and meh that I wasn't even going to finish the episode.

However, the moment that they turned into a magical boy team, it just became hilarious and I was just loving the parody of it and the boys are just so funny at being their archetypes. I was going to pas on this one right off the bat, but I'm going to stick to this one just a bit more. I'm liking what I'm seeing.

Hakone's new bond with that pink creature feels pretty silly. We get the transformation and action in the second half and once again, Hakone makes the most of his LOVE MAKE transformation. Lol, I know this is like a parody but the way the show was done made me chuckle; the action and the result.

I don't know why, but I like this series far more than I should.

The way they got around the secret identities thing was funny, though I have to say, I like the Conquest Team's uniforms and transformations better. I like their hedgehog leader and their names too. There something cute and yet hilarious about their leader being this tiny pocket hedgehog that sits in tea cups and pockets.

I think it is totally wrong for me to like this series as much as I am.

So the first thing the "good" guys did was commit murder and necromancy.

I can't get over Yasumoto as the tiny green critter, he's hilarious. DA! I'm also already liking the Evil Student Council, and going by the ending they just need more LOVE in their lives. A LOVE SHOWER, maybe? (And lol it seems Terashima is already practicing for Otoya. This is not my favorite of his voices, but it's so damn sweet.)

The teacher being an actual zombie... okay, but why are you guys sharing a bath with a corpse?? Best not think too much about it...

And today's guest star was Konishi Katsuyuki as chopsticks guy. Because chopsticks are serious business.

All in all I really like this show so far. I just wish the dialogue-heavy scenes were a bit more dynamic. The actual dialogue is funny, the delivery is funny, but somehow the visuals lack energy.

The preview, though. Is it next week already?

I could see this show getting character songs so I wish Konishi Katsuyuki had a more prominent role because I want more character songs from him, as he needs to sing MORE!
