Touma's entire body would essentially be like a torn hamstring. How'd that work out for you when you tried to move your leg?

Have you ever continue to do something even if all odds are against you? Willpower means a lot in reality and i know what it can do.

Had a classmate who broke his left foot but still plays soccer
Had a CCA mate who twisted and injured his wrist and fingers but still rockclimb a 10m wall with 8 sets of 5 climbs
Had an old friend who fracture his right hand and still grab for balls with it xD

You do realize that this the result of being shot at very precise angles that cause the bullet(s) to bounce off the skull, right? And when people are shot in the head and live, it's usually in the jaw.

Yeah, they live, often with permanent health complications that will often make them wish they didn't. And what are we using as a qualifier? How fast was the car going at the time, and was the person in another car?

Ignoring all that, in neither of those cases is the person up and walking (even with help) the very next day.
