It's because Word of God says they have a sibling like relationship. As such there's an opening for me to ship him with Lutecia

Weird that they'd say a sibling-like relationship, and yet the cast tries to set them up on a date. Perhaps what he meant was that it's only sibling in nature right now, since they're both still young.

Then again, this is Nanoha, where the Word of God won't confirm or deny any relationship... at least until characters actually get married, heh.

That was just Shari in StrikerS

The sibling-like comment is stated in the SSX booklet, so it's at a point where they're not so young anymore (not to mention puberty has kicked in).

Not saying the ship has sunk or anything, and I certainly still ship them. It's just that I have the freedom to say "Erio and Caro are siblings, so it's okay if he dates Lutecia instead."

And yes, they REALLY need their own series; I found their character to be more interesting than the original. Maybe animate Material Days or something

They are player B characters. I'm fairly sure they are exactly what they intended them to be.
