I am very picky when it comes to french music, but I totally LOVE some groups/artists
I love Téléphone. It might be old and all, but there music is so good. Here my favorite from them Cendrillon by Téléphone I also listen to Indochine. I don't like all their albums and songs, but some are really, really good. Anne et Moi by Indochine (on a FF-X amv) I also like some songs from Noir Désir. Un Homme Pressé by Noir Désir (excellent song to listen to while going to school to pass the exams) And some others song Like Lambe An Dro by Madmatah Gonna post more later XD |

Hehe we do have great artists in France
MC Solaar must be one of the rare rap artist I like especially because of his elaborate lyrics ^^ Well I like all kind of music as well, as long as the rythm and melody are good better is when the voice is beautiful Some French artists I like are: Pascal Obispo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wH2E5itZSg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dJDmXx9xFI David Guetta: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beGjncfEPt8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQFjavLR52Q His mixes just make me want to dance Calogero: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO1LqqP9w3I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmVvBTzkw7A I just love the lyrics there Kusa: the two titles you put from Goldman are my favorites from him Narona: Cendrillon is a must

Since I am here, let's not forget some other good ol' french artists Foule Sentimentale by Alain Souchon Le Lion Est Mort ce Soir by Henri Salvador And one of the most lively romantic song ever. It makes me happy just by listening to it. Les Champs Elysées by Joe Dassin Yep, definitely, we have great artists (more among the past generations though...) |

Narona : Yep, Cendrillon is a must have as Helly said. A really great song even if it's sad.
I like Noir Désir and Madmatah too Pagny is good too and yes Obispo wrote this one for him. I'm not very fan of Souchon even if Foule Sentimentale is good. Oooooh Le Lion Est Mort ce Soir, just *_________________* And yes yes, Les Champs Elysées a great classical *_* Helly : Yes, i like Obispo too. My fav from him is Lucie ! Guetta is good for dancing but that's all for me. And i'm not a fan of Calogero :/ For Goldman, i know it that's why i put them (it's a joke, i'm suprised myself ) Anyway thanks you two, i'm in paradise now *_* Some other artist that i like : Iam : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=EvanKdzX1VA http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=Jmadh6...eature=related http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=f0T0fw...eature=related Daniel Balavoine : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=6-IR_TVFihk http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=6vl8J-...eature=related

Narona: yeah it seems like the artists like to work together, well the result is great so no complain
Kusa: Yes, Lucie is just beautiful ^^ For some reason, as soon as I read Daniel Balavoine, I thought of SOS xD Here's another one from him that has marked me forever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZxnQToDF0U Of course like for every artist, I don't like all of their work, just a few hits striked me. (The only exception would be L'Arc~en~Ciel, but that's another story...) I have to admit, the 80's were the best Gold: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjcglI4dMB4 Elsa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZxCOkkRbh0 Emile et Images: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8BiQqYWqaI David et Jonathan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzP7AE08EpU *sniff* I want to cry now

Hmm funny, i could imaging that at least one person had posted the name alizee by now ^^, seeing how many pervs are on this board. But personally i would go for Vanessa Paradis ^_^, well she was fit when i was child and still is, imo. And of course Joe le taxi and Be My Baby were very catchy tunes.

Well i was watching the celtic connection the other day on bbc, and there was a french band called Lo Còr de la Plana and they sang in occitan. It was kind of really entertaining.
They have a mysapce page on http://www.myspace.com/locordelaplana And here their performance on celtic connection. (I'm not sure if the BBC blocks foreign IP, due to copyright reasons, so it may not work for some.) celtic connection 2009 (BBC) |

Any Larusso? Nearly 8 years ago we were dancing to her music at disco parties, like it was drifting a Peugeot across a wet parking lot at midnight, shifting gears and playing up the clutch.
