Another double post Sorry bout that.

Finally watched a decent, HQ sub of OVA 4.

Spoiler for My rather lengthy review of OVA 4:

And sadly, the OVA wasn't as good as I thought

The Fairy Tail guys just did some stupidly crazy stuff, went a little OOC in some parts, destroyed some stuff as usual. That's it.

Lucy was too annoying as a drunk.

Juvia too.

Erza was at least fun.

Levy is the epitome of a "normal" drunk person, yelling happily.

And Wendy is the dizzy, senseless drunk, passed out on the floor.

For the guys, Gray, you just had to be naked for 10 minutes, don't you?

And Natsu... I'm glad you kept your character even while being assaulted by drunk Lucy.

Jet and Droy, you don't stand a chance against drunk Erza.

And Happy looks so miserable carrying drunk Charle around like a horse.

I wonder, why didn't they notice Mavis watching them all through out?

But that was a nice story in the hot spring about how Lucy found Natsu and Happy's house. I'm glad that extra manga chapter made it as part of the OVA.

As for how Lucy acted as a drunk... WTH? I agree with Natsu: IT'S NOT YOUR CHARACTER!!

But she'd probable sulk in a corner again for being scolded.

But it's mostly Aya Hirano's small, "cute" voice I couldn't stand. Ugh.

All in all, 6 out of 10. The OVA lacks a story like in Memory Days and even Fairy Hills. Fan service isn't really for me, and even if I like the pairing, the NaLu moments during the drunk party were kind of weird. What really made me laugh was drunk violent Erza xD

u can link where u watch?, because i looking for a decent sub, i already watched 2 different subbed with a medium video quality(i one charle say something like bring me to roma and another she say u are a lhama, i want to see a one who i can say who is exactly what they saying.

and about the guys, natsu indeed in the "boys x girls" area for me is one of the best MCs who i already see. because 99% of the MCs of anime/manga are 3 type of cliche: chickening guy, who have a strange disease/fear of womans like gray who can't be touched by girls who they start to act too much unreal or total perverts like akatsuki from hagura yuusha or the guy from sora no otoshimono who can't see a woman who gona run insane to molest her another thing who serious disgust me; a mix of pervert and chickening like rito from to love ru, who try to act like chickening but aways end molesting a girl(many times the famous accidentally)or let the girls using him like a toy.

natsu dont fall in any of that categories he dont have any problem in stay close, hang around, play, talk, "sleep"(really sleep on her bed without any real pervert intention) with the girl who he's like/interested and dont try to take advantage of almost of the situations(he showed only 2 times his pervert side toward lucy 1 in ova 4 when try to peek on they girls bath "mashima stated who he was interested in peek lucy" and another after the lucy fight with flare but this is much more for me the way of him show he's trully interested/love lucy), he is a childsh guy maybe too much because he is aware of what is love he can see when someone love a person but when come to himself still too much childsh and prefer stay in the "special friend zone", the problem in NaLu relationship is clear who lies on him, when lucy already showed clear signs that she likes him, he still using too much subjective signs because looks like he still unaware of his own feelings.

Mashima posted an animation sketch (pictured right) from the project to highlight the care that the animation director is taking with drawing the characters' faces.

Now this is fanservice The faces are always bugging me in the regular show, but OVA 4 did a much better job with them. I'm glad OVA 5 is keeping it up.

Ah, the Eclair pre-movie short. I forgot that was getting animated. I wish they'd rename it differently though, streaming sites that is. I mean, when I saw OVA 5 I thought, THEY MADE THE RYUZETSU THING ALREADY!?

I agree though I would like another OVA very much like Memory Days with a reasonable story. Oh, I wonder if they're going to animate Gildart's side chapter in the current arc? That would be great
