I don't think there's any way they'd let Maeda do it independently given the commercial potential.

Hey, it took them 8 darned years after Kanon the H-game came out to do a proper adaptation (NOT looking at you, Toei Studios), so that's probably how long we'd have to wait till Little Busters, Damn It All!!

is kinda right since kyoto's animation is much more on slice of life and the drawing that was animated by kyoto is much cute and it really suits the voice for the animation characters ETC.[Clannad] and if clannad was very well animated like this.if i was from key company i would choose kyoto too animate.if little busters! would be animated by kyoto it would be a great animation. not that i dont like P.A but if the reason for animation for key i think they should stick with kyoto.

any comment for this post even if it is good or bad please tell me =D

Well CLANNAD only took about 3-4 years to get animated so just maybe...

Well technically, Kanon was adapted in 2002. But people don't like to discuss that.

That's a lie, an ugly lie... there was no such thing as a Kanon adaptation in 2002 and Clannad never got a movie. Those were just lies spread by bad people I assure you.

No, there was a studio that created a series that shared the same name, characters as Kanon and had a similar plot. It was definitely not an adaptation though.

CLANNAD movie wasn't good, but considering the amount of time they had, it was an okay job.

A quick half version of After Story, and a lot of characters cut from the movie. The end was pretty, but only half the story.

As for KyoAni. We will see what they do with Nichijou in two weeks. Their recent K-On episode 27 came out and was fairly good even if there was not music added (KyoAni, making getting a passport funny and moe). The K-On movie will be out by December, and with that recent episode speculation runs high that it might be about a trip to say the United States or anywhere for that matter. They will likely add songs in to that since that would be a very good way to earn money and they will have the budget and, hopefully, the time to fully animate a concert this time around. People have been wanting a "God Knows" level concert out of K-On since before it started.

This might be amusing to see what the reactions to this show is in relation to its existing KyoAni show fanbases, and others who watch for other reasons (including to pick them apart, because sometimes we see things in different lights when someone picks stuff apart).

Nichijou (My Ordinary Life)...is so freaking random. KyoAni might actually outdo Pani Poni Dash in randomness. Okay, maybe not that random...but close for a first episode. (or second since Episode 01 is out now)
