i really hope Luxor dose't become one of those good guys after there next mission or something. i really like him as a bad character. it would be bad if he became all part of fairytail like all the others.

Told you there'd be a flashback that shows Luxus can't be all that bad from the start. This probably will turn into what you guys feared as the luxus-redeeming-arc. Maybe it'll be even as Happy said, a tournament but to be honest i rather see that comment as a parody of this clichee where they all pee their pants just looking at the matchups at the grid and stuff

Why do they always do this - introduce a character and make him out as a complete jackass only to show later that he has a hard childhood/soft side. And then, we are supposed to just magically forgive him for his jerky behavior just like that? Give me a break!

Why can't they just make Luxus be a complete asshole. That way it would be so much more satisfying when Natsu kicks his ass later on. Oh, man, I miss the good old days when villains were just evil.

It's like in One Piece when Bellamy was introduced as this ultimate unforgivable jerk, it felt so really good when Luffy kicked his ass with just one punch and slammed him into the ground. now imagine if they made a flashback of Bellamy having a childhood drama which supposedly explains why he became a jerk in the first place. Seriously, how many of you would forgive his behavior? I'm glad One Piece went for the more conventional road.

Bring in all of the missing Fairies so we can see them all in action baby! Lets hope Mira joins in on the fun. ^_^

Grey and Lluvia are both gone too, don't know if they'll be back in time for this. And hell, Natsu's sick too. Maybe this will be Lucy's time to really shine.

it would be a joak if Lucy manages to defeate Luxus. even if she manages to have a decent match-up against him it would put Luxus down in the power chart. lucy is by no way as powerfull as Luxus. she is well out of his leauge.

Maybe she's got just the right spirit. Some rubber monkey spirit immune to lightning. But I doubt it.

lol Lucy taking on Lexus... Natsu just needs Ezra to threaten him with shovage to get his butt moving again. This will probably feature Ezra vs Luxus for a few panels - I personally wouldn't mind seeing it. But the best way to counter-out lightning would be to use....metal. Water actually sends electricity through faster so good thing Lluvia isn't here - she'd be fried from the inside out.

Don't forget she's got a full fledged (ex) guild member up her sleeve whom she hasn't "used" as a spirit yet. She may not be that strong right now but the way she can advance with more and more spirits combining their powers seems like a vast potential to me.

And it's apparently very difficult to use several spirits at the same time. I don't think she'll be getting that upgrade just yet.

very diificult?!! using any number of spirits that number more than 1 can potentially kill her out right.
but yea I don't think she will be getting that upgrade anytime soon either, shes good but shes not that good

I really hope we get to see the other S-class mages battle it out too, or at least introduce us to the "old geezer"

Moreover, she has trouble controlling her more powerful spirits as it is. Aquarius is likely to kill her the next time she gets summoned, unless she is on vacation with her BF, Taurus will probably follow the next hot girl he sees or grope Lucy instead of fight seriously etc...

I do want to see Loki fight seriously though...
