@ Senpai - I remember the name you gave me, but it seems a bit....flimsy? Wouldn't other russian students (I assume there are) realize he's using a name from a Russian item?
Anyway, I don't want to bother you so I'll just drop it Maybe I'll just have him say a random name on the spot EDIT: What do you mean "Barge in"? @ Demi - You can pair Claude with anyone in the game Anyway, the reason I don't like last hope is because Edge is a Dumbass Seriously, you give the obviously evil scientist the power core even if she's holding your teammate in what looks to be a prison cell? How the hell did this guy pass training duty? Side note - Would guys be allowed to tinker with the IS? @ Box - I'll just recite the Mantra

Recite the mantra indeed.
As for names, how about Smirnov? Barge in because Sainan is located VERY close, just before the monorail station which is heavily guarded. That's why Rito can easily met Laura and everyone is suspicious. XD

@ Senpai - So nobody would find it odd if he couldn't speak Jap(In story)?
Side note - Now that I think about it, wouldn't ISA hold some kind of rivalry or co op with them? They really complement each other in their role, after all.

Apparently Yuzuru fluked in number, because Gospel's maximum cruise speed is listed as 2450 km/h.... that's SLOWER than many modern jet fighter, for god's sake. And it was said that Supersonic combat need extra training.
How in the hell ShiroKishi can chase and cut ballistic missile, each measuring at more than 5000 km/h?! In short, I'm fucked. I'm really going to use exaggerated number. @Eras Nobody talks about it anyway, so, why bother? Yes, they do have some co-operation, technically Sainan is working UNDER I.S.A., though never said out loud since unlike I.S.A. Sainan is private owned and funded by multiple corporations from various country. Their uniform also bullet proof. XD

@ Senpai - Is it rare for a married couple to take the last name of the female rather than the male?
Side note - Doesn't this cause some resentment? Being classified as somebody's assistant no matter how good you are seems like it might piss some off. @ Demi - See ya later

@ Senpai - This might cause problems later on in Shadow: If Tatenashi's mother is the one that's Japanese, that means she's the family head and the organization has her last name. Since Tatenashi has the name Sarashiki (Japanese name), it means that Sarashiki Papa would have to get the last name of his wife.
Side note - Does this show later in the story? Like say some ISA students acting arrogant and belittling the Sainan students due to their supposed "Assisstant" Role.

Bear in mind I took a liberty against canon that there's no ugly student in Sainan (at worst, average, with 40% being total bishounen & Bishoujo), except for Principal. And yes, this is lampshaded. EDIT: Also, the Male-Female Ratio is about 6-4 in there.

@ Senpai - Wait, I'm confused about the matriarchal thing: Does that mean males born in the Sarashiki family automatically get gimped?
Side note - Didn't you already justify the bishonen/bihoujo thing by having make up accessible to people that can make them prettier? I'm also using this i Shadow as an in-universe explanation as to why everyone looks like a fashion model. Of course, this also amps Chifuyu's rep since she looks like that WITHOUT any make up Side note 2 - Just realized a new problem with the justification: If anyone can get make up that can make them more appealing, then what's gonna happen to things like modelling? If everyone has a pretty face, wouldn't the industry die due to the fact that everyone is attractive so no one would pay to watch attractive people on T.V?

Still, the existence of impossibly pretty boy like Rito and Ren is still strange, especially that Ren just need light makeup to look as pretty as his Idol twin sister, while Rito's face turn androgynous that attract BOTH gender Quote:
This means "Generic Attractiveness" and "The Beautiful People" tropes being played with. Also, just like in real life, even cosmetic has grades. Also note that anything can't be fixed by make up (such as odd facial structure) will stay noticeable anyway.

@ Senpai - That seems unfair What does a Matriarchal system actually mean, anyway? Do females get instant support or something?
Side note - Why? Can't you look like a bishonen with enough applications of the cosmetics? Ichika's a weird case in Shadow only because he's almost exactly similar in appearance to Chifuyu (Extremely odd). Kyuukai looks like older than his age so he doesn't take it. Irish gets asked mocking questions if he puts on make up every day to keep his appearance, but a close inspection reveals he has none either which causes even more questions. Side note 2 - So how limited is the cosmetic we're talking about here? Side note 3 - Is this make up distributed to the world at large or simply Japan? This seems like it would screw over the make up business and put every other cosmetics business on the ground.

"When we hear the word 'matriarchy', we are conditioned to a number of responses: that matriarchy refers to the past and that matriarchies have never existed; that matriarchy is a hopeless fantasy of female domination, of mothers dominating children, of women being cruel to men. Conditioning us negatively to matriarchy is, of course, in the interests of patriarchs. We are made to feel that patriarchy is natural; we are less likely to question it, and less likely to direct our energies to ending it." - Barbara Love and Elizabeth Shanklin, The answer is Matriarchy So yeah. If you have average face, make up can help made you look better. (Just remember that there's some odd student like Naruiwa from disciplinary committee, who's rather gonk and scary , people like him is numbered around 30-40 amongst the 480 student) Quote:
Tenjouin corporation produced the first such make up, and the price is quite high for a while, but as other corporation emulated it, the price become cheaper and cheaper, and better make up replacing the one came earlier. It goes to everything else, including military hardware. Of course Tenjouin used a loophole that while they can share the technology, it doesn't mean they have to give the production machine for free. The research cost and effort worth the profit.

@ Senpai - Wait, what does "Usage of female family line" mean? Sorry, but I don't understand that phrase
Side note - Is it obvious is someone's using the cosmetics? What are the signs that they are? Side note 2 - So what would happen if a natural bishonen/bishoujo uses it? Uncanny Valley due to the effects? Side note 3 - Ah, follow the leader going on here What exactly are the cosmetics composed of? It cant just be lipstick and eyeliner, those would never make you look too good without significant asspulling.

Of course there's that one phrase, "too much make-up". Quote:

In this case, not only makeup, but skin, hair, nail treatment are improved as well. Remember that some people didn't use make up but still use treatment product, and here, they work faster and more reliable.

@ Senpai - Okay, so how exactly are males at a disadvantage in a family/society like that? I played the old Baldur's gate games and one of the most badass males came from a society like that.
Side note - Too much make up = Gonk? Side note 2 - Does it also reduce your age if you look old? tabane must be using it, I know she is! Side note 3 - This sounds awfully like plastic surgery.
