They're concurrent with the events in Index. Touma met Mikoto several times (and duelled at least twice) before he met Index on July 20.

He made a failed attempt to help Mikoto in the cafeteria on July 19 (the first thing we saw in Index), the day after he basically saved her during the Graviton incident (July 18), and then he met Index. He did not appear during the Level Upper arc (July 20-24) because he was busy with Index's problems (Kaori, Stiyl, etc.) at that time.

I agree. I would really help if someone make a time line with all the events that happened in To Aru Majutsu no Index and Railgun, like in this day what happened such and such. It would really help us to clear out the confusion of dates between the main and the side series. Appreciate for the help.

Wow ch.27 is so fun

- I really wonder where did Frenda keep those things that she pulled out.
- Look like Lv5 is weak when they can't use their abilities.
- The hand-to-hand battle between Mikoto and Frenda is awesome. Mikoto was bad at it, but she was able to perform some nice moves. (BUT Frenda can counterattack that....)
- Other members of ITEM doesn't join the battle yet.

- Frenda's prepped the whole facility for this fight. It was pretty clear since last chapter.
- Why would Mikoto be strong at fighting without her abilities? She's a "normal" school kid without them. Frenda on the other hand is a mercenary for hire, and there's no clear indication if she even has an ability, so it makes sense she knows how to fight unharmed and with weapons. She's also using things like the boot knife and flashbangs, and tricks the mentally and physically exhausted Mikoto into not using her powers. Under these circumstances I expect Mikoto to get trashed, until she snaps and uses her powers anyway...
- Would love to see more ITEM as well.

Frenda's ability isn't been clearly revealed. But maybe that's part of her ability. So far what we see is she's using fused bomb system.

btw is their a translation of english? not a scanlated one but just translation. Its enough to edit one if one has a translation.
