I'm curious to why Demikas kicked Shiroe away instead of just killing that strategist because of his humiliating defeat back in Season 1?

Hm.. since the game itself is starting to no longer play by the rules, that means the adventurers should be able to do that too then right? Time for some 1000 man raids!

What do you think the Teachings/overskills are? The Adventurers have been breaking the rules ever since Nyanta learned how to cook.

It's situations like these where all you can do is yell "hax!" before getting wiped out .

No idea what they can do about this. All the teachings in the world can't make up for this situation. They don't have enough people. Unless they can somehow get these bosses to fight each other it's just hopeless.

You know what, I actually completely forgot about those haha, it just felt like a normal thing. I guess it's one of those situations where it's only fair if I get to use this super awesome weapon and not my enemy. So I didn't actually really realize it existed until the enemy started utilizing it too.

I wonder why the unofficial 14th server was also brought into the elder tale world. Does it really serve as an afterlife for the players or just a place they hang around until the cooldown wears off? How come only akatsuki and shiroe woke up over there? I'm sure there are tens if not hundreds of people dying at the same time all over the world, how come they weren't shown?

He saw that shiroe was stunned, who wouldn't be when 3 raid bosses came out at the same time, so he kicked him to "wake" him up, he knows the party will be dead anyway. At least that's what I got from that.

Wow, the fight against Luseat was great until it became a massacre under the trio of cheating bosses. I really wonder how they are gonna clear it, reinforcements definitely is not possible, right?

It will have to take discovering new loopholes, break or bend the rules if they have to so as to gain an advantage. Shiroe has to be the only one that can figure a way out.

From that light that might be Adventurer exp or memory.
I guess 14 server might be base of world-class magic that is the beginning of everything.
Adventurer exp might be like some sort of fuel for such a magic.

It's still only just a theory, but I think it has high possibility since Mamare like to give us a clues before hand.

For now it seems like the player count limit is still in effect restricting the number of member in a Raid.

But even if it's still not in effect, good luck LFR guys who are probably not that skilled nor experienced. In addition, you have to bring even more logistics to supply them, and not to mention the added difficulty of commanding all of them.

Not to mention the loots are still design around 24 players.

Hm. From what I remember, Shiroe in the light novel said that all the proof gathered by the Round Table proved that there WAS an existence of a third party, not that there WASN'T. Either I read it wrong, the translation was wrong, or the director screwed up here.

Until now, that thought never occurred to me. I just assumed the anime staff used simple designs to save money.
I strongly agree. The uncanny, "humanized" (for lack of a better word) design for the real Shiroe was brilliant. I knew the characters weren't exactly the same as their real life counterparts -- Nyanta-san surely isn't actually a cat -- but I did not pay attention to this contrast until now either. It worked. It worked great. We didn't see Shiroe the villain in glasses, but an ordinary, dull-looking, lonely human who understood his own weakness.

The spectacular scene on the moon, although already shown from Akatsuki's perspective, was also wonderfully crafted. The eerie colors, the implied silence, the glittering "sea," the gentle mood, the perfect tune to emphasize the mystery of the moment...

I don't understand how the same studio that screwed up Lenessia's face so horribly last episode is capable of doing this here.

Oh man, the raid this time around was AWESOME. I can't recall any MMOs off the top of my head where they suddenly spawn multiple raid bosses in addition to the one you're fighting though. Would probably be too difficult unless they really nerf the extra bosses.

This though was three full strength Raid Bosses at once, the hardcore MMO player's wet dream.

He wants to kill Shiroe himself, not have a boss do it for him.

I wonder if the appearance of the other 2 boss is because there is a timer to kill luseat? You know like rage timer when you take too long to kill the boss they become insanely OP which pretty much a wipe, cant wait to see how they going to deal with this, our "experience" in mmorpg definitely not helping in this case

The moon scene is meh, its the exact same from previous episode, i was hoping after he met akatsuki the scene will be brief with shirou narrate the whole thing from his perspective or something then continue back to revived shirou and end the episode with everyone being sad/upset to add some cliffhanger feeling. Not a bad episode but, i feel like i'm watching a 15 minutes anime not 25 minutes

If you picked up from what have been shown in the previous episodes, it's more because the rules of the game have less and less grasp on the reality of the world as it grew bigger. If it means that more player characters can work around the rules a bit (as shown with cooking and overskills), it also means that monsters dont have to work by the rules anymore (i.e the clues found by Krusty and Misa suggesting that goblins started training). This ultimately sucks for the Landers because it could lead to shenanigans like monsters allying and starting to wreck shit.
