All I know about this anime was it was a fantasy OAV from the late 80s and the only work by Yamagishi (one of the famous 29ers--the Shoujo pioneering manga-ka group that also included RIyoko Ikeda, Moto Hagio and Takemiya)

Scorpinok productions apparantly fansubed it but they seem to have disappeared... Any info?

Youseiou (Fairy King)

This was a single 60 minute OVA released in 1988 by Madhouse Studios.

Concerning the fansubbing of this OVA, a bit of research reveals that Scorpinok Productions did fansub it in 2002, but you left out a very important detail: They subbed it on VHS so any copies would be VERY hard to find.
