I'm wondering if it would be better to order the LE right away or wait until all are out to reduce the transportation costs. My country's not eligable for free shipping.

Madoka event cancelled due to not enough females

.... I guess there are only a few female fans of Madoka...

@Jimmy: What region do you live in though?

Some might argue that marriage is a far more dangerous contract to enter into....

Also, holy cow on those limited edition prices. Even the regular versions are pricey. I can't see myself rushing out to buy them, money is too tight to spend almost 300 dollars for an anime.

That's right, I'd have to pay the transport fees three times, once for each disc.

Never tried them before. Are they reliable enough?

You could try. I already got someone to order (it saves shipping); ask your friend to order you a copy.

At this moment, based from my observations of those who happily bought copies of Marimite, Rightstuf is a very reliable vendor.

Rightstuf is reliable from what I've seen. Heck, Aniplex USA's and PMMM's FaceBook pages link to that site for preordring Madoka lol.

The only problem I have with RightStuf is how they request scans of one's creditcard and some other proof that your adress is legit, for all customers outside the US. Which got my dad immediately suspicious once I mentioned it, but they certainly haven't robbed me yet.
And on a much more positive note, they also mark down the price on the package to claim that the items are just worth $5, which renders custom taxes pretty much a non-issue. That's the main reason why I use them whenever possible, anyway.

I have been shopping at Rightstuf for a year now and have no complaints. Well, my only one is that their website could use some work but that's being picky.

Sayaka Nendoroid coming soon!

------------
Edit: Someone tried to do reverse importation by going to Rightstuf:

http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/cat...em/93314/4/0/0

But instead got this:

Quote:
Due to licensing restrictions,
this product cannot be shipped to Japan.
I thought it was funny as hell.

Well they don't keep all that data since when they've confirmed things they erase the images.
Also some countries customs are seeing past the $5 declaration now plus with Cameron and his cronies trying to make everyone in the UK pay import duties no matter how much the item costs false declaration are a moot point which is why I've pre-ordered the limited editions through a domestic importer (another one of my blind purchases).
