If that's true, then good. One more series to put a cap on. |

I do wonder if it will be the final book, or just the final book of the main plot (end of the serious plotlines). But have an openning for the comedy plot lines to continue (more Fumoffu like side material). If it ends with death then it ends. If it ends with graduation, it ends. If the remaining characters can go back to school when things are over...then the side plotlines can continue.

At present, speculations about "Suzumiya Haruhi no Kyougaku", the second part to the story begun in "Suzumiya Haruhi no Bunretsu", which was originally scheduled to have been released summer 2007, but which currently has no announced release date.

Or perhaps, he planned it out so well that he was forcibly abducted by MJ12 Agents and kept in a secret holding facility, where he still languishes to this day.
Or maybe he hit writer's block. I don't know, I heard somewhere that had a massive timeline that he had written everything onto and that he had known the ending since the beginning. But I can't source anything, so it's all rumour at this point. |

Yen Press Haruhi event in NYC
Yen Press will present the first english manga volume (release date in October 2008) at the Kinokuniya Bookstore in New York City on October 18.
I hope that they will say something about the novel too. Source: animenewsnetwork Edit: The release date is October 28 according to some sites, e.g. amazon.com. Last edited by M.Marangio; 2008-10-18 at 03:12. Reason: release date |

Does anyone know the release date of the Haruhi manga by Yen Press besides the Kinokuniya Bookstore?
Because of course I am busy that day and won't be able to participate... I told myself NOT to read it illegally on ANY manga site until the first volume of the manga is released...why?...because Yen Press is just so darn awesome~~~! |

As for Haruhi, I see some sort of reset in their Volume 10 as well, albeit nowhere near as drastic...

Not necessarily. I think it's a pretty safe bet that one of the two timelines started in 9 will end one way or another in 10 (either by absorption, or destruction, or excision), and should there be any crossover between the two (again a safe bet, if we do in fact have a slider who needs to prove her abilities like the rest of the SOS did), then there will undoubtedly be some level of reset when someone (either a Kyon or the audience) ends up all of a sudden in a situation where what just happened five minutes ago/two chapters ago/etc. never happened after all.
I'd defecate auric feces if said "prediction" came true, though... ^_^ God, has it been a year?

Time passes quickly nowadays... the whole thing is quite sad
God, so many delay, just tell us a reason, we don't care if it's a lie, if it is, we'll have a reason to complain rather than the old old topic of "When is it going to come out?!"

...It's seinen...
Actually, it really doesn't have a demographic, but it's still rather male oriented, what with the fanservice and male narration. It's not something I can see tweenage girls enjoying... Oh well, at least I get my non-retard hardcover version. |
