... Tough, I'm showing it anyway. I got a new computer recently and finally got around to hooking my webcam up to it, so I snapped this while I was screwing around with it since I'm easily amused.

Notable for a few reasons:

1) First time I posted an image where I'm wearing my glasses! I think I look better without them, but I also can't sleep with contact lenses in.

2) Hey, look, it's my room!

3) If you look really closely, you can see a cat sleeping in the background. So I'm back on form.

Whilst I was abroad for the Christmas break, I got enlisted to do some housework for my best friend. You see, he wanted to set up gigabit ethernet wiring in his house in an unobtrusive manner, and there is not a proper attic or basement in his house. There is, however, a crawlspace, which is too narrow for him, but not too narrow for me!

This is me after spending seven hours up there in the hot, stuffy space, getting cut up by exposed nails and hauling wiring while walking on dusty beams.

You're welcome to do both, though at the time you'd have ended up covered in dust and sweat for your troubles. I had to take a double-length shower to get presentable for visiting my cousin after that.

Given that I've had crippling claustrophobia my whole life, I felt rather accomplished myself! Heh, thanks.

If anyone wonders why one hand is gloved and the other is not...I actually ended up losing the glove in an inaccessible gap during the process of actually rigging up the fish-rod to pull cables through to the outlets. That hand got rather cut up as a result, though it's all on the palm side so it's not really visible here.
