It's not necessary to change the non-unicode locale to Japanese, it is possible to run Fate/stay night using AppLocale. But you're correct that the blue box coming up is normally a result of trying to run the game in the wrong locale.

no problem, this is not my first japanese novel/hentai whatever game :P so I already have the japanese installed in my PC

I don't understand why it keeps showing me the blue error screen, maybe I'm doing something wrong when I send the ID to them

Why don't you try using AppLocale?
it was somewhere in Microsoft...my comp is Korean so i had to use it to play.
even tho Korean Patch came out and i knew about it long after...T^T

In the game, didn't Archer kill Berserker 6 times.. instead of the anime being 5 - i was just wondering if maybe the sub's are wrong.

They could have meant that he killed Berserker 5x with UBW(since he also killed Berserker once with his bow)

Hmmm.. probably, though it doesn't look like Berserker was killed by that shot, just injured.

True, but the same could be said about Berserker after UBW don't you think? We can't really tell when he'd be killed with the way his invincibility phantasm kicks in.

Thats true, it just doesn't look like Berserker is using his NP after the shot.

in the game he dies 6 times, that's for sure

I think in the anime he dies 1 time with that two huge swords and 5 times with the UBW

If you know what's going to happen in the next battle, then you'll also know that it make no difference whether Berserker died 5 or 6 times.

True.

But the whole point is, what's with these unneccesary changes?

Stuff like Rin's gem, Archer actually having some memories in Fate scenario makes sense in the anime context, but stuff like changing 6 to 5 doesn't really do anything.

Who says he really forgot in the Fate scenario in game though? He was lying about forgetting in UBW and it's kind of glossed over in HF, but I don't believe it was ever stated that he had truly forgot.

But as for Berserker getting killed one less time, no idea. But it should end up meaning something. There's no reason to change it unless the new storyline calls for Berserker to have an extra life.

Even so, Fate made no genuine impression that he had his memories of old, while the anime clearly states about him abandoning his past.
