I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, this or the Episode 6 thread...

So...I've been working on a little pet project with some semi-pro and amateur voice actors I'm friends with...it's a test run for an English voice patch for Umineko. This is a playable, voiced version of the Episode 6 prologue. It only goes up to there though, because I didn't want to upload multiple gigabytes of files for stuff that everyone already has...

Just download it, open the Witch Hunt folder, and run it as usual. Choose Ep. 6, and away you go.

Cast (in order of appearance, what they wanted to be credited as):

Feedback would be AWESOME, I'm hoping to keep going with this and do some of the stuff I translate by myself, because Umineko's awesome enough to deserve it. May or may not go back and do some scenes that got destroyed by DEEN if response is positive.

Actually I'd like to listen to ogg files used to make this. I want to see if I like the voices at least. But I guess your using something different?

I've now tested this patch. I can't say i've ever been a big fan of english dubbing, so it's a little hard to judge fairly here. However I like the voices to the degree it is possible for me to like english dubbing. Imo you should keep on doing this, if not for my sake then for the people who can tolerate english dubs...

Good job with this, I will probably check it out if any new patches are made. I particularily liked the Lamda and Erika voices. Didn't hear enough of Battler's voice to make an opinion.

However, great that someone takes the initiative to make something like this. Keep on voicing it xD.

Yeah, it's been tested and released in a few other communities by now, and it's worked great.

And you can listen to the ogg files, the arc2.nsa holds them all.

I like most of the voices, that's very good acting. The only critique I have is that I'd like to have a more accurate sync of voices and texts. If the text pauses so should the voice, if that's too much of a hassle then remove the pause in the text.
