That last scene with the children is such a major "D'aaawwwww" moment.

These last few chapters have actually been good, instead of the usual where she digs her own grave with lies and selfishness, these chapters ever since school started have just been her trying to get a new image and friends but failing due to being awkward.
And as usual...teachers don't understand.

Neat detail in -- if you go back to Chapter 7 there's a scene where Tomoko skips class in the infirmary and the exact same guy is sleeping on the bed next to her.

Come on, Mokocchi, even I've played enough VNs to know that guy's either a super cool delinquent who secretly longs for a friend, or a boy with a tragic illness that's forced him to live a life of isolation.
