Who cares what people think and watch, their loss. If you enjoy something no matter what people say you will continue to watch it till the end. I do the same with kojika and moetan despite the hate and i never regret it even if bcoz was fun and enterntain.

In the end Mitsudomoe was a great show, probably the best comedy of this summer season, too bad the second season in january will be only 8 episodes.

That's why you should care what people think and watch. Because if S1 had been more popular and the DVD/BD sales better, it's substantially likely that S2 would have been 13 episodes.

That aside, I think it's human nature to want other people to share in what we love, to get what we "get" about a show. I've long resigned myself to the fact that the shows I love are not going to be the popular ones, as a rule, but it would make a nice change. As well, I just hate to think of people missing out on a great series like this because of one dodgy ep near the beginning...

I think some people might have dismissed it early as a lolicon anime ala Kodomo no Jikan. Even on this thread people had that misconception early on before the anime really showed itself to be interactions between the kids. Jokes like the ones in ep 2 actually made me more resolved to watch this series since I think it helped it stand out from the usual crust of gags and misunderstandings you'd expect from similar anime.

I'm very sad this season ended, but very excited for the 2nd season. I feel bad for all the people who stopped watching after the 2nd (or 1st...) episode. The last episode to me was a sum up of the whole show. Misunderstandings, karma going bad, people who are thought to be pedophiles, this episode had it all. Can't wait for January

Fantastic anime, my favorite since Baccano (yeah, I don't watch a lot of anime....)

I was one of those guys writing this off as some awful loli anime, but it turned out really good, glad I decided to watch it.

I now eagerly await the 2nd season.

Mitsuba finally got something good happen to her after all the unfortunately stuff that she had to suffer through. Although i kind of expected it, its still pretty heartwarming.

Yeah i think too ... that was my opinion before that this show got released and now my opinion is totally on the contrary . Awesome hilarious show

Speaking of Shin-chan. I guess Futaba x Shin-chan are the kid couple here when you look at it.
I just wish they did something with Mitsuba also to look like Futaba or Hitoha.

9/10 - great misunderstanding, good slapstick jokes, imaginative kids, good ecchi, too short to end!
