It's been confirmed that the XBox 360 servers will be separate.

And bleh story mode. I'm buying this for the online dammit, having you go aaaall the way through the main story just to unlock online would be an absolute pain.
It was on the "Rumor" Report^^ Thats why I said rumor. But thanks for reporting it false

I've been running through the 360 demo for the past couple of days now and just like I thought, it's become my new crack like PSO was before. Good times indeed. ^^

I'll be making a Force and FOCast. XD

BUMP, game is now released.

Heading to Gamestop to pickup my copy right now

:edit:
Get ready for a patch! Hopped onto network mode and I'm already patching D:
Also SEGA's billing site is overloaded. I can't bill myself, I forgot to when I made my account last night.

PC users, installation is 8 GB

Not only can I not access the billing site, but launching it from my laptop does... nothing! The game refuses to even boot. --;

damn StarCreator it wont run for you?

I'm hoping the patch will fix some of the (slightly annoying) sync issues in the PC Version's Story Mode as well. In particular, the subtitles are way off time, the "ED" slide moves too slowly to fit the song, random glitchiness when playing FMVs (including the OP) and in-game cutscenes... etc., etc. I'm still fiddling with my settings too to make sure that's not part of the problem, but glitching up during a FMV seems odd, and the subtitle thing?

Other than that, finished the first chapter earlier today, and the gameplay mechanics feel pretty solid to me. I'm looking forward to trying it online.

(As an aside, they really should hire an English lyricist though if they're going to use English vocals for their theme songs... Note: in English, it doesn't sound okay to "melodically" mash words together on beat! Instrumentally, though, I think the music's nice.)

I hoped there would be an option for JPN Voice Over, but nope ; ;

I'm gonna try to find a JP version and see if i can play around with sound files.

All I need now is be able to get to billing.playsega.com T_T

LOL, the intro song is perfect in my book. Strange lyrics with a catchy beat and chorus. XD

And as for the VAs, I'm not disappointed at all. In fact, I like them more because I can understand them perfectly than attempting to try to decipher what I heard when playing the JP PS2 edition.

Now all I need is to wait for those damn servers to get back on.

VA's: Ethan sounds like he's always yawning, and there are some Godzilla-esque moments of superfast dialogue to match lipflaps. It's strangely tolerable though, mostly because it's a completely different kind of bad than I'm used to (in video games anyway). And if you think about it, real people mumble a whole lot more than voice actors usually do, so does that means it's actually better? I guess that's a philosophical question...

Hey the single player is pretty cool actually. It's layed out like anime episodes or something with an opening and ending after each chapter lol.

The online is swell as well, I'm up to level 9 now before I had to goto work... Too poor, need to make money so I can buy stuff
