I heard about the KoJika OVA and posted it on my blog, and there I was informed by a reader-- who has the DVD that came with v5 of the manga, or else knows someone who does --that the OVA actually IS the second season.

Ahh yeah, the new Kodomo no Jikan OVA series is the second season that was announced before.

Even looking at MoonPhase's anime list confirms this:
http://www.moonphase.cc/Html/anime.html

The second season was moved under the OVA list.

Thanks for the info giapet I'll remove the above post.

In case anyone else was confused, it's that the second season they already announced will be released direct-to-DVD (as an OVA series) in the future. It's not that any of the OVA episodes already released are the second season. A second season is coming, but it'll be released as an OVA series. Maybe I was the only one getting confused, but there you have it...

Edit: Too slow.

From AnimeNation blog:

The Moon Phase Diary reports that the upcoming issue of Young Magazine will contain a major announcement regarding Matsumoto Kouji’s horror manga series Higanjima. An anime adaptation, perhaps?

If you based your entry off that image, you should have really said so.

Fair enough, but I don't see any sort of link to it in your actual blog entry - i'm sure people would find it useful if you gave a link to it.

Nice news !

"Both Tsubasa Chronicle and xxxHOLiC are getting Original Animation DVD (OAD) releases with upcoming volumes of their respective manga in a new CLAMP and Production I.G project. The first one, an xxxHOLiC episode, will come out with volume 14 of the xxxHOLiC manga in January of 2009, and the subsequent Tsubasa Chronicle episode will come out in February 2009 with volume 26 of the Tsubasa Chronicle manga. After Tokyo Revelations turned out so good, I’m glad to hear that there’ll be more by Production I.G."
