True, her KMF seems more suited to the ground than anything. The Lancelot seemed like that as well, which is why it flying always annoyed me for some reason since I enjoyed the ground battles.
The Gawain was built for flight and its design made everything much more natural. |

If I remember correctly, guns in CG universe don't use gunpowder but electromagnetic rail, and the sakuradite make this concept possible even for hand held weapons. If this is true then why there is still a "blast" (fire come out of the gun muzzle when it fired).
Are rail/coil gun supposed still having that "blast"? I'm always think they don't, but maybe I'm wrong. And, are energy based weapon already existed before in CG world. I mean when Gawain used its Hadron canon, no body actually shocked/impressed.Maybe there is some sort of beam/laser/energy based weapon, but still not in common use. |

I ll have to go with Guren Nishiki purely for the theme of it's design. Unlike Lancelot, which basically straps on every form of weaponary (sword, rifle, slash harken) and made it felt like just another generic mech.
Guren is more highly focused on it's Radiation Wave Arm. The upgraded version expanded that function even more by allowing it to fire long focused beam as range weapon and dispersed wide area to disable multiple mechs. Making it easily recognized. This is from a purely aesthetic point though. Functionality wise, I think Lancelot and it's next successor (the one Rolo piloted) is probably the king.

Real-life, 2008 railgun test in the U.S: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:R...snavy_2008.jpg Yes, there is a blast, as the amount of heat generated by the electricity is quite high to start with - posing a RL problem as railgun components are prone to melt after a few uses, if not directly after firing. Additionally, it also depends on whether there is a small amount of gunpowder added in to provide extra thrust or increase the warhead's range. I recall seeing an official CG pistol cutaway (in the DVD extras) that showed no cartridges for the bullets, but it's always possible that larger projectiles come along with special equipment for increased lethality/performances.

I think that the poll needs to be changed as my favorite mech from Code Geass, Zangetsu, isn't there, still it hasn't appeared yet. Also after Gurren upgraded I found it truly awesome mech.

Guren. Love the design, and the claw is great!
Forgot to vote it, but love Gawain and its Hadron Cannons too. I'm sure there will be a second poll with the new mechs later on. Not now though. A lot of them haven't even appeared yet.

Hmm, didn't notice that it was a multiple choice poll, so I couldn't give the Gawain my second vote there . Ah well, maybe there'll be a new one soon, as there's now plenty of new knightmares among both Brittania and the OotBK - and I can see more coming, especially considering that most of the KoR haven't appeared on' the battle stage yet... |

The idea worked with the Tristan, but I really didn't want to see more transforming KMFs.
I still wonder how we'll work them in with all the other plotlines. I still feel pacing has been a problem with R2. It was sort of a problem in season 1, but it didn't feel as bad because it was only the start of the series.
