Well I'm definitely looking forward to this. Replayed P4 enough times that seeing it in a new way will be nice . I'm sure it'll be a challenge to decide how to handle the MC's personality, but hopefully they can do it right. I guess another question will be on the romance side. Could just make it a harem series where nothing really gets decided on, or pick one out from the girls.

As enjoyable as it would be to see Souji wooing all the ladies with the right phrases, but I never got the impression that he was a character that should be coupled with someone, unlike Minato with Aigis. Plus the P4 team felt more like a close-knit family or best friends, and it wouldn't make much sense to have Souji choose from outside the main girls either. I could totally see them having him be someone the girls can rely on and trust, but not in any romantic way.

Interesting how I was replaying P3F+P4 then find out they are releasing this.
The lack of invokers in P4 is a little disappointing =/.

The teddie in game > the teddie in PV =S.

There is a lot in the game for 12eps to cover (hope they do 24).

Whole Yusuke, Chie + protagonist getting their personas would probably already take up 2 ep.

Izanami as a conclusion would take at least 2.

Can they even fit yukiko, kanji, rise+teddie, naoto in just 8 ep while touching upon side-characters such a nanako/Ai, or even develop a relationship between the prota and his friends?

Wow, I cannot wait for this. It is going to be awesome if it stays true to the series. I bet their will even be P3 references. Maybe even a P2 reference since Persona 2 Tsumi is out in Japan now. D

I can't see them doing anything else. Persona 4 is about friendship, not romance. The romance component never had any sort of impact on the plot.

I'm totally looking forward to this. I'm a huge fan of SMT games.

I hope there really won't be actual pairings with the main character and keep it friendship-centric. I doubt they would fit all the relationship aspect into the series especially if it's only 1 cour. Maybe the only ship I'm fine with is Naoto-Kanji but just for comedic/"teasing Kanji" purposes.

I could see Chie and Yukiko being tight BFFs, Rise flirting a little with the MC, and Yosuke being the brotastic bro he is.

So eager for this, the animation looks great. I think any shipping wars are pointless, because it'd be pretty awkward and weird to gave attention to a specific girl. That can influence players to go after that certain girl or be more inclined towards them, when it's a game that's about choosing which of any of the girls you'll date.
I'm just excited to see Yukiko, really. While I love p3 more, I still loved p4 a huge amount, especially the characters, so I'm very excited.

while it's true that it might ended up as friendship zone. It's not bad to add romance. Specially in the game. It's funny just to see Naoto and Kanji's scene. Chie and Yosuke are also alright. But the most neutral is probably Yukiko but I prefer her most as partner with the MC. Plus even without choosing anything in story route itself. You will surely encounter Rie eh... I mean Rise teasing you XD

Well it had no impact since they left it upto the player to get together with who they wanted. To allow such an open choice it's hard to tie it together to the plot.... expect a pairing in the anime....
