As for me, I'm only getting Sayaka and not the other four, not only because I can't afford the entire set, and that I don't have enough remaining display space, but also because as Sayaka is my #1 favorite character, I just can not let this opportunity pass. I will definitely regret not getting Sayaka, but I can live without the other four, because I'm getting all their Puella Magi nendos anyway. I can just use 1/8 Sayaka as the centerpiece of the Madoka★Magica shrine I'm planning.

The only thing I can say about your dilemma is, you should think about which choice is the better one for you in the long term as a collector. One that will make you happy even after years pass, and something you won't regret as either just an impulse buy or a lost opportunity to own a beautiful complete set.

I ordered Homura, and will likely get Kyouko once she's available for order, but I'm torn as to whether I should collect the entire set or not. It would be nice to have all five on a shelf together just from an aesthetic point of view, all the different poses and colours. But they also cost a chunk, for characters I don't really like much...
Unless you are hell-bent on completing the set, only take the one(s) you really want.

I'm only interested in Kyouko, since she's my favorite and I've been waiting for an actual Kyouko figurine for quite some time now. Would be even cooler if one gets made of her in her casual clothes, rather than her Magical Girl outfit, but I'll take what I can get.

I remember when I pre-ordered that figure before I even knew who "Saber" was... Still one of the best figure purchases I made.

Is yours the re-release or one of the first?

I have first releases of Distant Avalon, Golden Caliburn, Triumphant Excalibur and Vortigern.

Quite a nice set but I have yet to take anyone but Vortigern out of the box.

My Erio arrived finally (slow SAL is slow)
Spoiler for Erio:

She's lovely. And comes with many parts. Basically two whole nendos, and the wonderful magnetic stand instead of a pin based one, or the useless leg holders that just collapse after a while. I should never have got in to nendos, but sometimes they're just cute and fun to play with.

I got a new nendoroid as well,
Airi from Queen's Blade

Spoiler for Image:

She's very cute and her dress is really detailed. The only thing I don't like is her stand which holds only one of her legs and it's quite difficult to keep her standing straight.

I've decided I only like magnetic nendo bases. The basic leg holding ones are terrible, the standard arms require a pin hole in the nendo, and the other couple randoms just don't work very well. All nendos should have magnetic stands, it allows for much more flexibility, is generally a much stronger grip than most pins (and certainly the standing bases) offer and is unobtrusive to the figure.

I like the newer style ones which is the square base with lots of holes in since you can always get a good grip on the figure using them. I hate the ones they used for the K-On ones which hold them by the legs and skirt since some of them, especially Ristu are really hard to stand up.

Even the circular bases with just an arm to fit into the back are fine since Kurisu and Mayushii stand up fine. Elsea and Haqua's bases are quite unique too, but they work really nice too and they work on the figma arm style too.

My issue with magnetic bases is that... you are definitely restricted in term of positions of your nendo. While it is quite handy not to manipulate anything to make the Nendo stand correctly, it stops you from making exotic placements (such like positioning the nendo mid-air). A little drawback for its straightforward convenient spec I guess.

Probably the reason why magnetic base are only used on few nendo (those that have a huge hair back part).

If you have a lot of money to waste, it's not impossible. Just use a proxy service if it's exclusive in Japan. :3

The only part about mermaids that I don't like is their lack of an ass.
