Asian Kung Fu Generation, Maximum the Hormone, Boom Boom Satellites, Oreskaband and UVERworld are my favourite bands.
I only listen to music as background noise so I mainly listen to Japanese music. However I do like OK Go and Hot Hot Heat, they're my favourite non Japanese bands.

No. As far as I know the Chili Peppers wrote it.

The official video got taken down so it's a live video. It's not a good performance but you get the idea.

I love King Missile. Saw them four times back in the day.
Milla's album was called The Divine Comedy. I saw her play a show that year (1994) at a coffehouse in Atlanta. She hugged and thanked me when I told her I drove 4 hours from Charlotte to see her. A real sweetheart.
I also dig Brenda Kahn. Haven't seen her live, though.

If I have to pick just one...

Augh, I can't do it! Too much good music!

Well, my favorite music to play on my guitar is early Metallica, so I'll go with early Metallica!
