Well after playing through all the VN's so far I gotta say the soundtrack sure has taken me by surprise. Usually VN or anime BGM I don't usually find that catchy or memorable, but Umineko has some really kickass Techno/Electronica tunes.

I'd say my favorite is dream end discharger. Very nice mix of serene and hardcore trance with some awesome violin parts. I've always liked the way violins sounded for some reason. =p

Me and my friend are Umineko VN tards and decided to do a collab on and english version of Occultics No Majo. He wrote the lyrics (which are wonderful in every aspect) and I shamelessly sang the song. You can totally check it out here:

As for why the lyrics were written the way they were, my friend basically took an english translation, decoded it into a story, and wrote lyrics based on the story and EP1-5. This is why they are different from the english translated lyrics you see all over the internets. I thought the move he made was simply brilliant.

Have a couple nitpicks, such as the lyrics "solve the epitaph" sounds a little cheesy considering that it's very specific to the story. But overall very nice job^^

So was there any actual Umineko music released at C77? There was a lot at C76, so I'm a bit disappointed to not be finding stuff at the moment... There need to be some more remixes done for 1-4 before everyone moves on to Chiru, too.

When's the Episode 2 soundtrack going to come out, anyway? Did they just abandon it? Because Episode 1's was a while ago, and there's plenty of music that still hasn't been released.

Official Game OSTs are normally released only during the next comiket after the game is released. But considering all the tracks are in the game as .ogg files..

I use "FreeMp3WmaOgg Converter" to turn the .ogg files to .mp3, and its never failed me so far. Except for Japanese titles, those you need to change to English before converting.
